I cant wait for his new record to drop in April. The "new" song I have been hearing on the radio is Wastin Time which is actually an up tempo version of the original recording Wolf had on his Long Line record from 1996. He had been playing this song live in the up tempo version for a couple years now. He's done the same thing with the blue grass version of Love Stinks. His we

I am not familiar with axs.com. Will presale tickets be sold through this website? Ticketmaster does not mention a presale on the 8th. Any clarification would be much appreciated.

I wish J. Geils was on the road as well, but I imagine Wolf will have his two guitarists, Duke Levine and Kevin Barry along. They are both excellent and frankly J. Geils won't be missed much at all. The Geils band can still deliver and while I wish they were playing a headlining gig here in Chicago, I will be there to watch them open for Seger, who I have never seen before. Even if its

His acoustic gig last night at SPACE in Evanston was fantastic! He is in Chicago tonight and tomorrow at City Winery; a definite must see.

These Chicago area shows are being billed as "an acoustic evening" with Peter Wolf. I am really looking forward to it!

I wish J Geils was touring with the band this summer also; but I am still gonna check them out. I saw Jay perform with the band last summer in Detroit on their last gig of their brief tour. Their last two shows, both in NY were cancelled due to Hurricane Irene. Jay certainly had his moments: his lead on Lookin' for a Love and also One Last Kiss were certainly highlights. But the reality

Peter Wolf is as good a frontman there is. Unfortunately he is rarely mentioned since he does not perform often

I really knew very little about him besides playing with Bowie in the Spiders from Mars era. I saw him play at the Freddie Mercury Concert where he played with Bowie on "Heroes" and also "All the Young Dudes" with Bowie and Ian Hunter. I thought he was quite good. This was about a year before he died. I also read that he helped John Cougar on his Jack and Diane track from 19

I was at the Chicago show also and it was fantastic. The third song was a ballad called Long Way Back Again from Fools Parade. I hope we don't have to wait another 8 years for a tour. If you're on the fence about going, you'd be crazy not to!!
