i'm a big stones fan and rock fan in general in the u.s. but i don't actively seek out new stones music. i have *never* heard anything from ABB on the radio. the only time i've heard any of the songs have been when i went to the official web site for the stones and listened to some (wasn't really blown away), at the super bowl, and on ads where a small excerpt is played. i

Well, I think other interesting sign is that this Super Bowl had the highest viewership in the USA of any since 1996... Seattle and Pittsburgh are relatively small cities (compared to SF, NY, LA, etc.) and so one would have expected the viewership to be lower than usual, not one of the highest. Surely the Stones had a lot to do with the high viewership.

Have not heard Main Offender. I remember when Talk is Cheap came out. I was a huge Keith fan, had really high expectations but was also worried that he might be a bit sloppy. Put the vinyl down, started playing and I was blown away. Great songwriting, great music, it met all my expectations and more. I thought he took some petty stabs at Mick and Keith, and I found it shocking that he talked so little about the *music* and so much about women and money. I'm betting that if Keith wrote an autobiography, it would be mostly about music. Having said that, I was glad to have read it, especially because of the parts about the Edith Grove days. I agree that was great. Why doesn't it go

The Associated Press is running a review of the SuperBowl show that calls it "mediocre" - I'm a huge huge Stones fan, but I haven't seen them since '89 and don't have any albums since Steel Wheels. That might not make me a huge fan in your books, but I'm a bigger fan than anyone I know, and I know a lot of Stones fans! So I thought you'd be interested i
