the video is from the new orleans superdome show....... the audio is not however. it is from one of the dallas shows recorded later on in the tour.......someone spliced them together....it is fun to watch though. i have this video somewhere.....i believe it is also only 3 or 4 songs.....and no video of the entire show exists.

the story i always heard about what inspired ronstadt to do this song....was that her band loved tumbling dice....and used to warm up by playing it all the time. so she started singing it live...and then recorded it. you must agree....her band had good taste in music.

great stuff!!! thank you so much for sharing!!! my impressions..... some amazing moments...and some others that are incredibly flat. if MT were to play with the stones today.....he would have to work hard to get up to their level in many ways..... you would have some truly amazing moments....but there would be others that were a bit underwhelming.....would be great to see though.

i find it impossible to believe claims of people who say they got tickets to each show.... these tickets were all gone by 10:00.00001 it is not possible to have gotten one batch...then re-login and get another set...why you would feel the need to lie to everyone and be a big man on the boards....well all i can say is.....pathetic......

of all of the places i have seen the stones in concert.....i would have to say i enjoyed them most at the HOLLYWOOD BOWL....not for content of the show...simply as a cool place to see the stones. it was just a beautiful....historic setting....my seats were pretty close to the stage so for me at least the sound was excellent.

still i think it is really morally wrong of them to say they won't refund your money at this time..... you purchased tickets to a specific show on a specific date......for whatever reason the band cannot fulfill its' commitment.......refunds should be made immediately for those who want their money back.... this is just REALLY BAD BUSINESS!!!! and it is just plain wrong!!!

the radio city recording imho is the best quality sound of any taping from this tour. a smaller venue than any arena....the taper was situated in the perfect spot and the results are excellent. during a few songs, especially on AS TEARS GO BY you get the perfect blend of the band....mick.....and the audience singing along with the song..... and WORRIED ABOUT YOU.......is great to hear...

overall i would have to say it was one of the better setlists for this tour. some of the highlights..... Let's Spend the Night Together Sway Ain't Too Proud to Beg Gimme Shelter (damn lisa was smokin on this one!!!!) and Angie (keith was awsome on the old acoustic) the rest of the show was pretty much same old stuff..... but the stones performed it all very well!!!!
