Well, quite obviously he's fit and healthy enough to do it, but I don't think Michael Cohl or Mick would be over the moon about giving him several thousand pounds/dollars in a plastic bag before each gig. Anyway, he'd punch Keith out every time he played a bum note!

I think it's unlikely the Stones will want to fire Ronnie. I'm sure it's not as simple as a phone call from Michael Cohl 'Hi Ronnie, sorry, but you're fired' there will be legal implications involved and if Ronnie has got a half decent lawyer/manager it could cost them a lot of money. There is no doubt that Mick will not be amused by Ronnie's current behaviour

Keith should apologize for shit all. He did not force anyone to go. Not his fault you turn up with all these expectations. I think that sums it all all up in a pretty concise nutshell ! I get the feeling that a lot of people had convinced themselves that the O2 gigs were going to be the Stones ' last stand ' and as such they would play some sort of farewell setlist of

I really don't think Keith Richards has anything to apologise for. If people don't know by now that each Stones gig is an individual experience then I think they are missing the point. The Stones are essentially a bar band that lots of people want, and are willing to pay a lot of money, to see. The songs that they play evolve as the tour goes on. Sometimes they, or individual members

Why not just sit back and enjoy it without the need to over analyze what was obviously a great show. ' Get your ya yas out ' has overdubs on it, so why do you expect things to be different 40 years later. I doubt if there are any officially released live albums, live DVD's out there that haven't been ' modified ' in some way. It is common knowledge that one of the

When I was 11 in the U.K. the only televised music programme was ' Top of the Pops ' I remember quite clearly one Thursday evening tuning in and seeing the Stones do ' Brown Sugar ' ( the clip is widely available ). I just thought Keith was the coolest human being I had ever seen.....now I'm 47 and still do. For the next few years I had to make do with taping from the r

U2 use backing musicians. As previously mentioned they hide them at the side or under the stage. The Edge would be somewhat lost without his bank of effects ! I'd like to hear him nail a Chuck Berry riff !!

For a rhythm guitarist like Keith he is so steady. Keith knows where he is and can play around him. I guess if he weren't so commited to the Stones we would have heard a lot more jazz output from Charlie.

I have no doubt that the album will be in the shops before the tour starts.....I think the Stones have probably experienced bigger pressures in the past.... a few tight deadlines might increase the spontinaity.

The fact that Mick & Keith are getting on together has got to be the best thing that has happened for the Stones in a long time.

Basically Mick sings and dances, Keith plays guitar and poses, Charlie drums and Ronnie does what he's told. They are a three man democracy and if any one of those three doesn't want to do it any more that will be the end.
