QuoteMassimo68 QuoteNashvilleBlues HD was over 48 minutes and was only one record. And that went beyond the limits (44 mn) of the recording to preserve good sound quality. In the 1980s, some bands would put an hour’s worth of music on a single vinyl record. And to the ear, it’s a waste (and the vinyl material itself was over recycled and crappy) Original ”Aftermath” Uk 1966 was 52 mn long.

QuoteGasLightStreet Quotejp.M I have always found ”Get close” too repetitive.... But Brown Sugar isn't? A lot of Stones songs are "repetitive". That's ridiculous. ...the chorus is repetitive..6 times at the end...+ along the song..

QuoteHalfNanker After about seven listenings, my feelings haven’t changed. It’s a decent song, but very loud, kind of in your face. It reminds me of Might as well get Juiced in terms of the cacophony of sound it throws at you! ...I agree.. too indistinct at first sight...!.

Quoterollmops When I first heard the "piano demo" version of the Deluxe Edition 2020 I thought " Yes, exactly". That is the way I feel about that song; very English Romantic sensibility. Dressed up with the clever arrangements tailored by Mick T and Billy the song shines too and it is one of my favorites. ...I agree 100%.....

QuoteProfessorWolf QuoteBig Al ProfessorWolf, my ranking would be: Elvis Buddy Holly Chuck Berry Little Richard Jerry Lee Lewis Bo Diddley Fats Domino * I was very tempted to place Chuck ahead of Holly, but I believe Holly would’ve adapted to the 60’s and change in a way that Chuck simply didn’t. It Doesn’t Matter Anymore and It’s Raining In My Heart are masterpieces. Sigh, what coul
