Quotegotdablouse Maybe she had signed an "exclusivity" deal ? Can't see how boosting her public profile 100x would hurt the musical though, on the contrary ! Like someone posted over there "f this is about doing the stones show then it was worth it", ya think ? Having witnessed her performance in Milan, I would certainly be keen to see her in 'The Tina Turner Mu

What a great gig! Fair to say that Mick has fully recovered, the man is extraordinary. Superb atmosphere, Wild Horses and Dead Flowers, a light rain shower to cool us down, the band rocked. Ciao Milano!

QuotePalace Revolution 2000 Is it safe to say that this collection leaves every other Stones collection on the planet in the dust? Surely this is the biggest trove in existance. The Stones should show up. You're quite right PR2000, the items NOT on display in the museum are huge in quantity and high in quality.......but there is only so much space! (not forgetting those other gems which ar

Quotestargroover How was it Manofwealthandtaste ? Nice picture there by the way. What sort of reception did he get from the audience? I had only seen Jeff Beck play as a guest at other artists’ gigs before, so was looking forward to seeing him perform in his own show. He gave a virtuoso performance, playing one track with a left handed guitar.....upside down a la Hendrix. After several instru

QuoteCaptainCorella Agreed. Far more thought was obviously put into this Beatles offering from Lego.. I love the idea of a Rolling Stones Stage Lego set - 1989 Steel Wheels with scale versions of Ruby & Angie! Yep, that Yellow Sub model is intricate.....over 500 pieces!

QuoteHarlem Shuffler On a TV listings site for Sky Arts this evening (Saturday) it says Rock ‘n’ Roll Circus starts at 6pm, Charlie Is My Darling 7.30pm (NOT 8.30pm) and Days of Rage: The Rolling Stones Road to Altamont 8.50pm. Hmm, strange......I see - 7.00pm Rock n Roll Circus 8.30pm Charlie Is My Darling 9.50pm Road to Altamont 00.05am John Lennon : Imagine Followed by ELP and then Jo

On the morning of the Live Aid gig, I almost bumped into Bob Geldof and knocked him over! He lived in the next street to me at the time and as I rounded a corner he appeared in the opposite direction. I wished him good luck for the afternoon to which he mumbled a 'thanks, man' and we continued on our separate ways....

QuoteErwinH QuoteSilver Dagger Will there be a Pre-Sale code for tickets. This one will sell out quicker than the actual Stones' shows. You think I'm kidding - I'm not. It's a tiny venue. Hey Silver Dagger... If you guess the code correctly you can get in for free SOCKSOFF....?!

Does that mean I gotta go buy a mobile, or can't get tickets to the gig?
