I was speaking with Ronnie in his final weeks via Facebook, unfortunately time ran out before I was able to achieve what he had requested. He always made time to chat with people as did Sam Cutler.

Quoteschwonek I guess this will be the tour name. What do you think it says underneath Rose Bowl? NRG Stadium, BMO Stadium. Obviously they have played NRG before and BMO was designed to host concerts also their schedule appears to be clear on that date. As mentioned before would be crazy if those dates actually matched up (wishful thinking though).

Quotebuffalo7478 Cleveland is an easy 3 hour drive from Buffalo. Also a short ride from Detroit and Pittsburgh. 5 hours from Toronto. Plenty of places to stay. Plenty to do around town. The only negative of the last show I saw, in Pittsburgh in 2021, was the crowd's lack of energy. The band had 'it' still. I feel partly to blame for this, I think the crowd’s lack of energy wa

This is a difficult one to answer but Steel Wheels and Voodoo Lounge are definitely up there. That being said I really like the 76 tour t-shirts with the faux suede tongue and text. I have two identical ones from Earl’s Court, not that I was there (I was minus 1 at the time lol).

QuotePlink What ridiculous, mean-spirited rubbish!. A troll, no doubt. Your Hyde Park poster is a pro-calibur effort, and while you can't please everyone, it's beyond rude to post derogatory comments in response to artwork that a fellow member created and shared for others to enjoy . Hope you'll continue to share your future work here, though. Instagram is also a good venue to sha

QuotePlink Great posters, Nasty Habits . Thanks for sharing. Both are clever in concept, visually cool and professionally-executed. Bravado should hire you. The Hyde Park is my fave - imo, it's on par with your fab Heinz poster. That central tube station design is just brilliant and would look fantastic by itself on a white tee - now I want one! Thank you for your kind words. Apparently

Quotedeeeskannnie ...So I guess you're on your own 'personal trip' here? Kudos for the efforts, but how about a thread of your own for these? From memory last time I did it was moved in to the poster thread. Much the same as when I tried to start a thread to find out who from the exclusive Heinz crew would be attending shows and which shows on this tour. It got buried in the tour

Quotewalkingthedog I was a member for a couple of years in the late sixties. I still have some newsletters. They also sent me a picture cover for Honky Tonk Woman. And a signed picture of the band, but I'm not sure if the signature is real or just a print. Was it a US cover with the London logo and US cat#? Becuase I have seen folded versions like this with UK singles housed inside. But I&#

Quotethunderball It’s looking like the no 9 Carnaby Street releases are no more unfortunately. What makes you say that? There’s been 7 releases in 17 months so it’s not as if they’ve been releasing one a month. I think the last tour accounts for the lack of releases and this month there hasn’t been one probably due to the fact it’s right after Christmas. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next one

QuotedcbaYou're probably right but yuck! A DVD of Paris'76 +a CD of El Mocambo would get my vote. Yeah I think Love You Live Super Deluxe with Paris 76 DVD and El Mocambo CD could be a possibility, especially as Paris 76 was rumoured for DVD release a while back. Although exile was reworked back in 2010 I’m wondering if they’ll do anything in the way of a 50th Anniversary release,

Still Life is 40 years old this year and Love You Live turns 45. Does anyone else think it’s possible we’ll get 40th and 45th Anniversary extended editions? I think it’s possible that the rest of El Mocambo could finally get pulled from the vaults and we could see a 3 or even 4LP set and of course 9 Carnaby St editions to coincide with releases.
