Three of the albums made huge impacts on the careers of these artists and pop music at the time: KISS Alive! Frampton Comes Alive! and Cheap Trick - Budokan. They may not be our favorites but the albums did very well. Forum: Tell Me

Did you have a giant man crush on Chavez beepee2?
Lol you think I'm like the average American crying for a president and thinking "jesus is back" ?
I'm not sure this is the "average" American. What is? We're so different. Forum: Tell Me
Valero is not affiliated with Venezuela or Hugo Chavez. It is an American company based in San Antonio, Texas. But Citgo is a Venezuelan state-owned oil company (Hugo Chavez). Forum: Tell Me
Isn't the song all about groupies? From what I read about Page, he was a rage with the groupies: whips, underage girls, mysticism, etc. This has to be the reason why Mick sings about it. Mick must have had his ego bruised. Surely Mick thought he was all the rage, not Jimmy Page. Forum: Tell Me

There was a vinyl boot from TMOQ called "Our Demonic Invocation" that had outtakes or recordings of the movie Sympathy For the Devil. Two sides were outtakes and the other 2 sides were mixed with live material and rare recordings. Inbetween the songs there was a strange narration... creepy.
I've seen a few covers of this boot. Forum: Tell Me
I was told the second UM pressing of this remastered CD has the unedited "Star, Star". How can anyone tell the difference between the pressings? Forum: Tell Me

A friend and I had front row seats in 98 for the first Houston show. We didn't know it until the usher pointed out our seats. As we sat in our seats I felt a bit of panic. It was just too close. Forum: Tell Me
It was at the original Soundwaves near Hobby Airport in Houston back in 1987. A friend wanted to go look at their selection of 12" singles and since I'd never been there before I said sure... why not? I wasn't expecting much since the place was not located in an area of town known for great music stores.
When we got there it was real hole in the wall inside a strip center that Forum: Tell Me
I have a tongue tattoo like the 1981 San Francisco poster on my upper arm. It's the one with a knife thru the tongue and Hawaiian flowers around the edges. "Rolling Stones" along the top and "Tattoo You" along the bottom. Forum: Tell Me
I think it might have started as a way for fans to know they were bootlegs. Unless of course the LP was a Frank Zappa release and then only God knows. Forum: Tell Me

Well, if I can interject here, the answer to that would be a resounding NO.
There is a dialect of French spoken in south Louisiana however, despite what this article claims, not in New Orleans (that I know of).
True that. I've been to New Orleans many times and the only time I ever heard French was from French tourists. Definitely south and east of New Orleans you Forum: Tell Me
