QuoteMRAmandaJones Hippodrome de Longchamp is not too small. It's a very huge site. It depends on the way you manage it. There were 85.000 people for each concert of the Stones in 95. At the Dangerous tour of MJ there were 90.000 people. And Pope Jean Paul II gathered 1.000.000 people for a great mass to close "JMJ". The Pope closed a gig of Jean-Michel Jarre with a mas

If I were to compile a list of the 100 greatest songs, the name Quincy Jones would appear most often in the credits. What a great middle name he had. Quincy Delight Jones 1933-2024 Rest in the sweetest music eternally.

Quotepetewasbristol QuoteBowieStone Quotepetewasbristol I got my Cardiff ticket this afternoon (I was trying for four and a half hours)but man that was absolute carnage. I just read the odds were under 3 per cent to get a ticket. I don't know how I got a ticket when so many others did not and I really feel for those fans that missed out. Plenty of my mates did. All I will say is keep an eye

15000 people leaving is BS. 15 maybe; drunk and/or diarrhoea. I was sitting in the stands at that gig and the floor was packed when the stones played and plenty of seats still unoccupied when Liam played. I believe I still have some footage somewhere of the crowd.

QuoteManofwealthandtaste That was ridiculously easy. Joined the waiting room, the time came, I was number 21 in the queue and 2 minutes later I'm in and tickets purchased! Give me Gin & Tonic! Yes, a friend of mine as well. Even for multiple shows. They’re hyping this thing up like they’re bigger than Taylor Swift, but no need to be stressed: if you want to go, you can go.

QuoteBig Al Quotemosthigh I'm hearing it won't be the original band besides Liam & Noel. Pity. Bonehead was kind of their understated secret weapon. If they do stadiums in North America, they will probably be fewer and farther between. UK will likely be a bloodbath for tickets. The line-up will probably be: Liam, Noel; Gem Archer, and Andy Bell. Zak Starkey will guest on drums,

Same thing with Beyonces Cowboy Carter or those albums by Morgan Wallen. They’re not misunderstood double albums, they’re playlists… pick the songs you want, don’t worry about th

State of Grace. That's the track I always suggest to non-swifties. Great track. A bit U2-esque. With the Folklore & Evermore albums she convinced the music aficionado. But her real talent is pop music: Red & 1989 are her peak albums IMHO.

She's touring Australia now playing to packed stadiums night after night, she has 8 albums in the Australian Top 10 albums chart and her enti

Wembley has "Front Pitch Standing" (£145.75). You'd think that similar stadiums would use that set up as well.

QuoteStoneZP Denmark Street Hyde Park ... Denmark St 4 is where Regent Sound Studios used to be. You can’t miss it, it’s a guitar shop still called Regent Sound with a couple of Stones posters referring to their recordings there. Is the Ealing Club still open? Worth a visit if so. Saw Chris Jagger there a couple of years ago.

Some popular Belgian bands/artists at free festivals from the mid 80s to the early 90s: Soulsister, Axelle Red, Raymond van het Groenewoud, Johan Verminnen,… My first real, paid, concert none other than The Rolling Stones; june 1995 at Werchter. Tragically Hip was the support act.

Whomever they were!!! I’m in your corner. I still even play the “The Real Milli Vanilli” album. Not sure I know about this real Milli Vanilli album. Will have to seek out that one now!
