So...back to the original topic... Why would the band pay big money to have a horn section, only to not use it on She's A Rainbow? The song seems empty to me without the horns. I wonder if the horn part (probably a mellotron) was a point of contention between Mick and Keith (who also produced the track) and thats why it was never performed until 1997. Thoughts?

On Steel Wheels tour, the Stones had a full 5 piece horn section - but the live horns were not utilized on Bitch (probably the Stones most famous song with horns) however, the horns were eventually used on Bitch since then. She's a Rainbow was never played live until 1997 and played sporadically ever since. But never played using the horn section (including the current tour)... Too mu
