Petco Park is in a prime area of San Diego. Waking distance to the ocean, restaurants, clubs, taverns, bar & gills, Hotels etc. Perhaps this is one reason why the tour manager chose Petco park instead of Qualcomm Stadium which holds over 70k and home of NFL's San Diego Chargers. Nothing really within walking distance from Qualcomm stadium. We're very fortunate here in San Diego

I was hoping to purchase a couple of Rod Stewart tickets for the L.A. show, only if Ronnie makes a special appearance. I saw Stewart at the Hollywood bowl a couple of years ago just to see Ronnie Wood, who was appearing as a special guest that night. Well, I just read this article below and I think my hopes for a RS off season fix may not be happening.... Your still the best Ronnie.... The Rol

I was walking near the MGM about 4 PM, on the way back to my hotel to get ready for the show. When I approached Treasure Island, I noticed the billboard reporting the Joe Jagger had passed away earlier in the day. I felt like I was just punched in the stomach. I knew the show was not cancelled since MGM was still showing the Stones billboard. I spoke with a few hardcore RS fans who were not aware

Great strategy and planning. They always stay at the Olympic Fairmont Hotel when the RS are in town. I'm sure Mr. Security is going to be given a few words by his boss. His next assignment "The Wiggles". Congrats

While watching B2B DVD last night, and watching MJ dance moves at the begining of Flip The Switch, I recall watching an interview with Tina Turner about MJ. She was asked about her working relationship with him. She related that he was somewhat boring in his early days. He just stood at the microphone and sang with very few moves. She claimed that after watching him, she taught him some moves and

RS tickets expensive... How much did you pay for your first concert ticket, year and who was it. I remember my first concert in 1978. ALICE COOPER $7.50 at the Fresno Selland Arena. About 12000 seats and sold out.

WHAT EVER CHARLIE DOES IS FINE. He truely is the back bone of the RS. RS could not go on with out Charlie and if they tried to fill the gap, it would never work or be the same. He has given us 44 years of great rock, jazz, rhythm and blues and we have the privilege of telling our kids that we lived it. He should be honored on an indivisual level in the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. Charl

Any clue who may be warm up at MGM in Las Vegas. Great venue of only 14,000. Van Morrison, Alice Cooper, King Solomon Burke, either one will do. I was at the Wiltern for the 40 licks club show in L.A. with King Solomon Burke. Awesome show. The best was when King Solomon Burke joined the RS on stage for Everybody needs somebody to love. Bumped into Mick Fleetwood at the small venue and watched him

Just having a little fun with it. It's actually one of my favorate tunes from Bigger Bang. I did watch them play it live in Fresno last November and was curious on the guitar part. I thought Ronnie and Mick were playing it, but was too far up in the nose bleed seats that I really could not tell. I'll be at the MGM in Las Vegas on November 11th. I have better seats in a venue of only 14,

Your all wrong. It's actually Charlie who played it in the studio for Bigger Bang (Charlie is great on guitar). Ronnie was on drums, Keith was on keyboards, Lisa, Bernard also on guitar and chuck was controlling the sound board. Mick was not there during the recording. He was auditioning as an extra for a reunion episode of FRIENDS. If you listen to the studio version very closely, it's
