Hard pass for me...I'm in Paris, and will be at the beach that week, not mingling with those stupid Olympic Game crowds...and not willing to pay crazy prices to just seen Angus and Brian. I wish there was an official statement as to WHY Phil Rudd isn't there. He played in France a few years ago, after his legal mess, so a travel visa isn't the reason...

My favourites are the red Indio/Las Vegas longsleeved raglan shirt and a red No-Filter wifebeater I got on that tour, great for showing off my skinny muscles!

A bit late, he turned 75 yesterday. Listening to IORAR album right now, such a great album, gets better with every listen, quite underrated actually.

QuoteIrix QuoteFrogSugar Why are they letting the 30-something Ozzy producer take on the bass duties on HD? Darryl was not available for the recording sessions due to other commitments. And Andrew Watt doesn't play Bass on all tracks - . I'm still pretty much amazed that Darryl wouldn't want to be a part of the (probably) last ever Stones album ever. Yes, I know th

Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere, but what's the deal? He's been on every album since Bill bailed after Steel Wheels. I'm a bit surprised that they let Watt take on the bass duties on the album, what does this mean? I'm sure that Darryl is the technically better player... Why are they letting the 30-something Ozzy producer take on the bass duties on HD? Somet

Crap magazine... They spent way too much time talking about politics, and that content was pure garbage, there are so many better magazines out there that are deserving of attention. RIP Rolling Stone

Just stumbled onto this thread... My buddy has a to-go eatery in the Marais area of Paris (Little L.A., 52 rue du Temple), a friend of his spotted Mick at a nearby art gallery on May 9th and snapped a shot and texted it to my friend. I'm unable to upload it, but Mick's wearing a black baseball cap and appears to be with someone else wearing a beret or hat (hard to tell). Exciting eh?

QuoteVoodooLounge13 QuoteDGA35 Hopefully I'll get to see them one last time. They've had decent opening acts when I've seen them in the past: 1988 w/Dokken 1990 w/Skid Row 1994 - can't remember who opened 2006 w/ Motley Crue 2010 w/Joan Jett All in Vancouver. I believe it was the 2010 show that Tom Hamilton wasn't playing because he was either sick or injured.

Damn, I was hoping this thread would be about Wolfgang Van Halen's opening of the VH vaults with live shows from the 1981 tour, especially that elusive Oakland show that everyone seems to be raving about!

They're playing the La Defense arena next year (remember the Stones 2017 shows?), I don't see how they're gonna fill that place, I'mma sit this one out.

A dozen or so shows, including the Stones (Paris, bien sur), Queen, etc... but by far, the best show was KISS! Only those who saw this tour will understand.

QuoteParis75014 I'm just able to say : COME ON FRANCE !!! They just had a bit on BFM, interviewing PSG supporters in the Perroquet bar (I think it's on rue Didot, I've never gone there, I'm more of a rue Losserand guy!) EDIT: Oh yeah, and GO FRANCE!

Got 2 pairs each of the Xmas and the vampire teeth ones today at the Boulevard Haussman store in Paris. I also scored Kiss and AC/DC socks there. The latter were 50% off, and the cashier was like fuckit, she gave me 50% on ALL the socks I bought!

Ugh, Paris show is nearby, but those opening bands SUCK! I'll see how I feel about going on the week or day of one of the shows... If "Pantera" were opening I would be first in line to get a ticket! New song isn't bad at all, very good for a bunch of aging millionaires. But their new album will be around 77 minutes for 12 songs, I wish they would trim down their song

QuoteBig Al I have their Greatest Hits. I do like many of their more ‘well-known’ songs, but haven’t explored them further, admittedly. I do think Robert Smith is a terrific frontman. Friday, I’m in Love, In Between Days, etc. They’re all terrific. I really should explore their discography. I know they’re on of ours - the U.K.’s - very finest. Here's where to start: 1. Pornography 2. Seven

Eminem, Duran Duran and Judas Priest deserve whatever awards they won. Even if Eminem isn't rock and roll, he's a trailblazer, and his lyrics are as raw or even more so than "raw black music" whatever the @#$%& that means.

QuoteYazid Manou I attended the show. Ha...I must have been pretty close to you, I was in the 4th row, slightly to the left of your photo along the aisle! There was indeed a great atmosphere...I wish there were more Dead tributes in town (I don't think Dead & Co. will ever make it to Europe)...
