For rock, from top favorite to lesser favorite: Academy Records in the East Village and Greenpoint (great selection of used) Brooklyn Record Exchange (in Bushwick, large used selection) Captured Tracks (decent, near Greenpoint Academy Records) A1 (decent, a little rundown, in East Village) Stranded Records in the Village (mostly new)

QuoteNikkei If you try telling non-Stones fans what you paid for that ticket, you'll be lucky if they pity you silently instead of laughing you out of the room Yup. I've lied to friends about what I spent...

I need to give huge thanks to the two Argentinian fans who directed me to the bus after the show. It turns out they were also staying at my hotel, so I took them on an Uber when our bus transfer didn't work out. On the bus, there were two other Argentinian fans as well. Argentinians are the best Stones fans, I'm convinced. A great show, which will probably be my last. Heard the tw

Have you taken a look at the tickets that have been released? It's not just production holds. There are thousands of tickets available for a show that was effectively sold out according to LA television a couple of days ago... I was dreading flying down here because I thought it was going to be like the Rose Bowl 2019. I still wanna get in the PIT for face value, but if that won't ha

QuoteTopi Quotejmd Not sure where to put this since the original 10/17 thread was closed, but lots of tickets for the Sunday show have “magically” appeared for sale on TM. Good to know they are fighting the resale market, or so it seems. They're not fighting the resale market; they were promoting it. There was only two tickets available for face value for the last few weeks on TM. I h

I don't know what's up with LA #1. I was checking it daily, and last Thursday, Pit 1 and 2 "sold out" after being at face value for weeks. That's a little hard to believe. A lot of other tickets were taken off market, too. Still looking for PIT for LA #2, and I might need to pull the trigger at scalper costs. Or I'm hoping for tix to be released. I really thought

Is there much chance of tickets being released for Sunday once they set up the stage? Been eyeing TM and Stubhub like a hawk.

Could someone please make a Venn diagram showing the overlap between those who both complain about the stagnant setlist and complain whenever the Stones try something new?

Does it matter at what time you pick up your tix? It seems random, right?

In 2019, if I recall correctly, there were a few ledges along the back---enough for one person to sit, like a small elevated platform probably intended for security to stand on (not that anyone did during the show, but it seems like that's what it was intended for). I sat on one for a bit, but there was only one every few feet, and it was in demand since people didn't really want to sit

Tonight they've made another incredibly persuasive argument that they should keep going---it's exhilarating to see. I was on the fence about seeing them but soon I'll be on a plane...to LA.

Wow! I laughed seeing Keith muss up Mick's hair during Satisfaction. This must be the most affectionate they've been on stage. Seems like Keith is continually reaching out to Mick. Phenomenal performance.

QuoteDeanGoodman QuoteDan Line 212 which late night terminates/starts catty corner from the Vons on Manchester and goes up La Brea to Hollywood. I'm almost thinking of doing this - just 54 stops along the way. It actually takes you to Prairie & Kelso, which is pretty much on SoFi's doorstep. I'm considering this too, but it seems to run on Sundays at 11:04pm, 12:04am, and

B2B is the first album that was released after I became a Stones fan at 12 years old, and perhaps that's why I still enjoy it. In 1997, there was no issue for me to go from "Mother's Little Helper" to "Flip the Switch." I loved them both, and still do. I can see how folks who were adolescents in the '60s would have a difficult time, but for me, the production
