Not a couple of tunes 'still open' but a couple that won't be heard. It will be a shorter show due to late start.

Quotemtaylor Remember the Berlin concert. The stadium looked very empty - terrible... Does anyone have a picture showing the crowd at this show? Thanks.

QuoteMonsoon Ragoon I know that by the time of cancellation only ca. 18.000 tickets for Leipzig 2006 had been sold (of 45.000 or so). Similar situation in Nuremberg. I don't know if they had played the 50 % filled stadiums if the tour would had run as planned. They might play if at least 50 % are sold. I've seen several shows that were 60-70 % filled. If 30 % is sold four weeks before

Quotehilary Hi everybody....I'm little bit worried about the possibility that some gigs will be cancelled since it's seems that just few tickets have been sell...it's strange that there's no sold out yet...what do you think? It's an interesting question. Isn't it the promoters that take the hit financially if tickets don't sell and the Stones get paid re

It's unfortunate for Wyman's legacy that the beginning of the Stones' best era as a live act coincided with him leaving the band. Would we have had those swaggering, uninhibited performances during 1994/5 with a motionless Wyman onstage? Bill's departure seemed to release the Stones back to their roots. A capable bassist, but Darryl Jones is a far better fit for the b

Why is it that celebrities give interviews when they have a product to sell? To gain publicity. If Keith hadn't made a statement that had the potential to shock, the article would have received less publicity. Maximum publicity is sought to maximise sales.

QuoteHairball QuoteOlly QuoteHairball If it hasn't already, I expect Sympathy to be permanently moved out of the opening slot which they might have already done since Paris show #2? Not a great way to start a show imo with drum loops and a screwed up solo (most of the time)- save that for the second half where it's less noticeable. 'Sympathy' was the ideal set opener, bu

Quote35love We’ve got new press, Someone looking for this?? ‘Cardiff's Principality Stadium on June 15.’ As ever with UK press of the band, opinion is split. There are certainly some polarised comments underneath the article...

Yes Hairball, it can't have been the most taxing meeting the band's visual marketing team have ever held, can it? At least the tongue gives some context. Before, it looked like the local council's budget for road signs had suddenly increased.

QuoteDeanGoodman Unlikely next year, per Don Was. I asked him tonight at an event and he replied, "You probably won't see it in 2018." I didn't get the sense there was much progress or rush. Cheers Dean, nice to have some confirmation. It's always seemed strange to me that people were expecting a new studio album in 2017/18, as the existence of B&L is testament

Difficult question, especially when comparing footballers of different generations. Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima is arguably the most instinctive, naturally talented footballer.

Quotekeefriff99 Hard to believe that only a couple of months after that massive Rio show, Keith's head injury occurred and changed everything. Yes, I hadn't taken that into consideration. Keith has faced challenges in recent years. Charlie is the oldest member of the band and has been the 'old man' of the band for decades. Ronnie's now the most energetic of the bunc

Quotepowerage78 Happy was so good here Damn. Whilst I'm pleased the Stones are still putting on shows, performances like the one above almost make me wish they'd called it quits after the O2 in 2007. We're now looking at a very different band. I don't know whether it was the five year hiatus or something to do with approaching/turning 70, but the difference in the ban

Quotestone4ever The Russian girl was said to be 17 when they met. Same age as Mick's mentioned girl. Still young for a 62 year old imho. She looked younger than that at the time . I felt so sorry for Jo. The term 'underage' relates specifically to the age of consent. Moral condemnations are one thing, breaking the law is another. I don't know enough about the historica

Quotestone4ever ...Can't understand why that article picked out Mick and not Ronnie. About 8 years ago it was all in the press that Ronnie was seeing his Russian girlfriend who was of the same age. But Ronnie was 62 at the time, a huge age difference compared to the mentioned girl with Mick. Wasn't Ronnie's girlfriend 19 or 20 when they met? The age of consent in the UK is 16,
