Kurt, Thanks for the link to the Padres' Platinum tickets. You can't find it on the regular home page. I bought a pair of tickets in 122, row 4. They were double face value but way less than comparable seats on the secondary market. I just couldn't take the risk of waiting any longer. I'm going to the concert!

The prices for Platinum tickets at tickets.com seem to be dropping a bit. Decent seats are available in the $400-$650 range. They're still way above face value but they appear to be cheaper than last week. I guess I'll continue to lurk.

Well, I struck out in the Pandora and Zip ode presales plus the general sale. I was going for floor seats in A6 or better. My guess is that none of those seats were released at $395. I notice that StubHub has no seats available in sections A3 - A6. It looks like they have all been allocated to the promoter's Platinum and VIP packages.
