I’ve been coming to IORR for 30 years since I was 12 years old and looking for all the information about my favorite band. My Rolling Stones experience wouldn’t be the same without you BV. Thank you! ~You make a grown man cry~

Seems to me that the best of anything Mick or Keith have done is almost always in the context of the Stones. Outside a few solo gems (Don’t Tear Me Up, Struggle, for example) their work together is always better. Maybe it’s the competition between them. Maybe it’s the little tweaks they give each other’s ideas. Maybe it’s the constraints of being in The Stones (constraints often make artists bett

I’ll ignore the bickering and offer my theory. I think they’ve got it in the can or are close to it. They had 3/4 of an album already finished, according to Mick. They didn’t include any bonus songs on their Japanese release, which suggests they’re keeping their powder dry. They had a long lead time between announcing the album and touring it to record new songs and polish others. There were repo

1. Voodoo - it's bloated, but it was my first Stones album so... 2. Hackney - so good. Probably won't stay here with time, but starts pretty strong. Helps that's it's focused. 3. Tattoo You - I love this album, but it is sightly overrated I'm afraid to say... 4/5. Steel Wheel / Bridges to Babylon - One is sterile and one is a hodge podge, but both have charm. (Wanderi

I was planning to come out on Monday to hear them with the hopes they'd be leaving after that. BV - if the trucks are there, is it safe to assume they're headed to Texas this weekend?

What’s their rehearsal schedule like? Every day? Five days a week? 11am to 5pm? I’m hoping to find them but not sure what their routine is like. Anyone know?

Will they release more LDs? I seem to remember them doing that on previous tours? Or was that a fever dream? ~Chasing shadows, moonlight mystery~

I didn’t mind her vocals the first few times, but then they started to grate. Weird that they would have her so loud in the mix. Any chance she will join Sasha and Bernard, ala the ‘89 tour. Or do we know for a fact she replaced Sasha?

QuoteSilver Dagger We all know that Sticky Fingers has been played in its entirety and that Let It Bleed is the only other Stones' album where all the songs have been played live. But what are the albums that have had the least live versions played, not counting TV appearances. Let's focus on the UK releases. Their Satanic Majesties Request - 2 songs Dirty Work - 2 songs Bet

QuoteLorenzAgain Quotegotdablouse QuoteWild Slivovitz The snippet doesn't sound to me as part or the finished product, but rather as a display of the featured performances. Let's see! Interesting, was wondering about that too especially with Mick apparently giving directions at the end of the snippet. It was advertized as "hear 20 seconds of the song" though. I’m 99% sure

I imagine he likes it - this is pure Keith Solo intro: Steve on drums, then Keith enters with his riff (see: nearly every song on Main Offender + Almost Hear you Sigh + few on Talk is Cheap).

Anyone else get the email talking about a “new Stones era?” Anyone think it could be residency in a city, say at the Empire in Hackney to start? “Sittin, thinkin, sinkin, drinkin…”

A couple of meanings: Their saying the songs on the new album are Hackneyed Diamonds (ala the double entendre of Forty Licks - licks as term for songs and a play on words on the tongue logo). It’s the 60th Anniversary of Charlie joining the band (Jan 1963), so it’s their Diamond Jubilee of sorts. They started their careers as England’s Newest Hitmakers and they’ve progressed to Hackneyed (aka

Seems more likely that they’re doing some production for the announcement. Maybe a video? Likely other media prep. If Soldatti is right (he usually is) that they’re planning to announce around Mick’s birthday, then that gives the Stones’ team a month to get it polished and finalized. Seems about right. Also, Mick’s instagram post was in a photo studio - assuming it was released in realtime, that
