I’m super stoked! I live in Austin and am thrilled to get to see them here again. Zilker Park would be a better venue than an F1 track—but I ain’t complaining! When is the last time the played before a paying 120k crowd?

Other than a NEw Orleans Saints shirt, there was nothing I saw. They were still setting up, though. QuoteHairball Quotelonghorn14 Merch trailers are being set up now and open at 3. I got a peek and nothing too special for Nola that I saw aside from some Saints stuff. Have photos but can’t post on the go. Tickets are being sold at box office. More later. Is there any special litho or t-shirt

The bag and stuff are nice, but we paid 1200 each—so a regular pit ticket at 1/3 the price would be fine. Sounds like you got a heck of a bargain! QuoteHairball Quoteangee Quotelonghorn14 Anyone know if the Start Me Up VIP package they sold comes with any perks like early entry? If not I may as well get mine refunded and buy a $495 pit ticket and get the same experience. For those considerin

Thanks angee! They already sent the swag (minus the litho) to my house a few days ago. I’d send it back if they asked (if I got refunded). When I did s similar package in Madrid years ago they had early entry—but I’ve not ever seen it again in the US. I might go to the Superdome to see if they are selling tix there and once I have them in hand, get refunded on the others. Ordinarily I might find

For those considering coming, go for it. As others have mentioned you can’t beat the prices and the city is fine. We landed this morning (quick trip from Austin) and the city is fine. Rain is drizzly but not har

Exactly. Sell back full priced (TM refund) ticket. Buy new lower priced ticket from TM/venue. My wife and I foolishly bought pit VIP which cost a fortune. After we bought we saw pit non-vip being offered for 1/3 the price. This might be just crazy enough to work! QuoteMarthaTuesday I just downloaded the MP3 - thanks so much again, Drake! Such a good recording - very much enjoying listening. Longhorn14 - love the photos! Thanks for posting, and like Niek, I'd love to see any more you have. Okay, I'll do some more retouches and post a few here as well as a link to my Photobucket account. Hi, I am flying in tomorrow for the show. I don't know Nashville well. I am staying at The Hampton Inn Nashville/Vanderbilt (1919 West End Avenue, Nashville, Tennessee, 37203). According to Google, it's a 2 mile walk to the stadium. Is that a safe walk in the dark? I've been told I will be good, but would love some local knowledge. Thanks!

I hear you on that, 751st. I have tickets for Nashville, but am trying to sell them. I already went to San Diego and Dallas and spent a fortune (for me). I'd like to do Nashville, but then again maybe I save my nickles for a potential South America show later. Or, maybe I should just be reckless and irresponsible and do both! Carpe Diem.

I was in Dallas, 33 rows back on the floor, Keith's side. This show was amazing in just about every regard. I was also in San Diego a couple weeks back, that show doesn't hold a candle to this one. San Diego seemed like unrehearsed opening night rock 'n roll whereas Dallas was perfectly sloppy (in all the right ways) rock 'n roll. I'll break my experience up in sections
