QuoteGasLightStreet Quote24FPS Quoteab Quote24FPS The first Led Zeppelin album, regardless of plagiarism, is a singular work of art that shot the blues into outer space. Led Zeppelin seemed built for the short haul, and the Stones for 50 and Counting. The first Led Zeppelin album isn't a singular work of art by any means. Jeff Beck provided the blueprint for it on Truth. It is to my ear

The Rolling Stones. The Stones, The Beatles, and The Beach Boys are easily the three greatest bands of the 60's. The holy trinity, you can say. Closely followed are The Who, Pink Floyd, The Kinks, and Led Zeppelin. I do think that Zeppelin is slightly overrated. But to be totally honest, I don't have any problems with the band itself (other than all their plagiarisms). It's th

If Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, David Marks, Blondie Chaplin and Jeff Beck come to Australia, I would get tickets straight away, I wouldn't even think about it. The Beach Boys are one of my two favourite bands of all time, alongside the Rolling Stones! I even saw the boys at their Melbourne concert during the 50th anniversary tour. Jeff Beck is all-right I guess, not a huge fan of him. But I

Gotta be 1962 to 1968 for me. In my opinion the Brian Jones era is by far the best. The 1969 to 1974 era is a bit overrated, but still great. If only Mick Taylor never left... The 1975 to 1982 era is where they go downhill a little bit, although Some Girls, Emotional Rescue and Tattoo You are all great albums! The 1983 to 1988 era is unsurprisingly their nadir. As for 1989 to now, they'

So to him (it is probably not a she) this is really only an empty game. You're right. I only just joined this forum, despite being a long time fan. Considering this "game" was/is a major success from Smiley Smile forum, I was hoping to r

Quoteadotulipson QuoteRockman .... games are for kids Indeed and I love all these tracks I understand, their debut album is a favourite of mine as well. But what we're doing is voting the least favourite song (doesn't mean you have to dislike it, you can still love it if you want).

If you don't like the concept, or you don't like it at all, then don't vote. Simple as that. We don't wanna know if you like it or dislike it, if you dislike it, then ignore it...

As a massive Beach Boys fan - and a massive Mike Love hater - Don't be put off by their brilliant music because of this @#$%& and his actions. The Wilson Brothers are the Beach Boys, not Mike. Brian Wilson is a Genius, not Mike. Dennis is the cool, dark horse not Mike. Carl is a brilliant singer, not Mike. I only wish that Mike never became a Beach Boy. Just imagine that! BTW, I noticed t
