It was disgraceful to say the least. Especially considering I live just 5 minutes away from where it all happened.

I think that sometime down the road we will get a Let's Spend The Night Together deluxe addition with the full concerts from both the indoor and outdoor show. Quoteexilestones I’m hoping for Tempe’81 uncut. Great show! Of course Paris 76 should be coming sometime.

I like the Hampton version as well and Bill is excellent. QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteTurner68 I actually prefer this live to the studio version on Some Girls, which is weird because generally I don't think the Some Girl's sound translates well live. It is really great to have this cover song- after spending the 70s exploring reggae, disco, and mediocrity, they went all the way

I think we'l get some things like "Let's Spend The Night Together" expanded with some additional cuts or maybe a deluxe bluray with both complete concerts. Also "At the Max" is due for a reissue sometime. We may also get some of the broadcasts from 1981, 1989 and 1994 which shouldn't require much work to release. Many of the broadcasts are already circula

They sure did ruin it and I agree they should never play it again. "One of their all time weakest covers - wish I'd never heard it. Similar to how they ruined the Beatles' Come Together at Desert Trip, but in that case wisely decided to never repeat that mistake again".

QuoteLeonidP Quotegeorgemcdonnell314 Some 8 track tapes had extra music on them to "fill in" space because of the longer time on 8 tracks. Does anyone know if any of the songs on their 8 track releases had extended times over the album release? Surprisingly my 8 track player still works. Anyone have insigt on this? We have the Some Girls tracks from the 8-track, that are d

I use to love doing the same thing. I still have a bunch of the cassettes I made maybe I should listen to them. Just to get a feel for the times. Quotejahisnotdead I recently got a little CD player that hangs on the wall, and I put it over my CD rack. I wish it had a visible track display, but other than that it's been a good decision. I like CD's. I enjoyed cassettes as well and I l

QuoteChrisL Quotegeorgemcdonnell314 I still have an 8 track player that works. I only have two tapes to play in it but it still works. So does my cassette player and my turntable I have had since 1981. CD's are not obsolete yet. The neighbors behind hang their old CD's around their garden to deter animals. My first bootlet was "Bedspring Symphony". I purchased it from an ad in Goldmine magazine. I still have it and it is still my favorite bootleg and I think it has a better mix than the officially released version. It's the one bootleg I just will not part with.

I think I am just like most men here and really forget about what music is on. I would say the lyrics "You dream of it passionately, you get rise from it, feel the hot cum dripping off your thigns from it" From the Undercover album.

I have a collection of MFSL original master discs some still sealed I would never part with. I think the Dark Side Of the Moon UHQR disc only 5000 made is worth a lot since one of them is still in the original wrapper. No, my Sticky Fingers and Some Girls still sealed are not for sale.

I would like to have Don Kirshners Rock Concert archives there has got to be a ton of stuff in there. The Ed Sullivan news has been around a few months now. The 1970's was full of shows with guest artists like The Johnny Cash show or Kenny Rogers. Hopefully a lot of this stuff will come out down the road.

From what the rest of the band says Brian was not able to perform as well as expected. The band has definitely not been the same since Mick Taylor left. When Bill left the band pretty much started on their Vegas years. Ian on the other hand seemed like the glue that held all of them together and I think the lost the biggest step when he left. The music does not have the same tempo an
