I was there. Great show. Very jazz-heavy, but Chuck Leavell's turn was more blues. Great jazz versions of Stones songs, mixed with Tim Ries' tunes, I assume. Bernard sounded great, they all sounded great. A great warm up to tomorrow's Stones show.

I don't know Doom & Gloom, but I've seen 'em every tour since 72, and they will indeed sell out the Midwest stadiums. Columbus is the midway point between Cleveland and Cincinnatti. Plus gas is under$2 today.

Interesting posts. Grohl on stage, probably a good choice. He's current, popular,and added some energy.However, Grohl's "young, loud, snotty and fast" mentality, I don't think meshes with the Stones' groove.
