Daniel Lanois would be ideal as Stones producer. Just listen to Emmylou Harris's Wrecking Ball or Dylan's Oh Mercy. He creates a very moody feel and might give The Stones the kick they may need. His solo work is not shabby either.

I am surprised that V.L.is not get the recognition it deserves IMO it is one of the greatest of late period Stones. Such variety. Good rockers great ballads a little Tex Mex and Keiths best country ever. And why they haven't done Mean Disposition or Baby Break It Down live escapes me.

I've got it and it's great. Fantastic packaging, as good as Basement Tapes. Book is of great quality. Sound quality of all disks is great. I am hearing a lot more of accoustic guitar underlay. One happy Aussie.
