QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotemicawber Tattoo You IS a deluxe edition - of the 70s studio sessions... Mainly from the SG and ER-sessions. Since they tapped into the GHS sessions for WOAF and Tops and BAB sessions for Slave and Worried About You... certainly more were considered and possibly worked on! Isn't Start Me Up initially from the BAB-sessions, too?

Album versions: 1. Start Me Up (my first Stones single, never will forget hearing it the first time at full volume, was impressed right from the intro) 2. Brown Sugar (Rock'n'Roll at it's best) 3. Honky Tonk Women (drum sound, simplicity, melody, guitar sound) 4, Worried About You (just cool) 5. Doom & Gloom (late classic, the energy of the recording never came over live,

No, didn't listen more than three times at all. Boring and uninspired. From the infamous "against the wall" sessions.

Quotematxil Undercover would be a great album without "Wanna Hold You", "All The Way Down", "Too Tough" and "Must Be Hell". The greatest songs on it are "Undercover", "Tie You Up" and "Feel on Baby". From DW, "One Hit" is great, "Sleep Tonight" is good, "Winning Ugly" should get rid of the 80s

Don't forget - Wanna Hold You - Pretty Beat Up - All The Way Down - Harlem Shuffle - Dirty Work - Had It With You - Almost Hear You Sigh - Love Is Strong - Moon is Up - Brand New Car - nearly complete 'Bridges To Babylon' - Rough Justice - Let Me Down Slow - Rain Fall Down - Under The Radar and most of the deluxe-releases. Not bad. We should be thankful, forever.

Stuttgart 2018 - No Filter Pit Ronnie side. Great gig, very nice summer evening. Went with my mom, 73 then. She danced for the whole concert. Great memories. Had booked Tampa Florida 2020 to her 75th birthday. Sadly didn't happen due to f*cking corona.

QuoteMisterDDDD Quotewonderboy I know this is probably sacrilege, but what if they had given this track to a young rock and roll singer. A session man, so to speak. Mick is 75, his voice doesn't have the same quality and he's mostly doing mannerisms now. The first cut had most all of us diehards wondering which parts where the young Mick and which were the old. Turned out it was all

This could have been a much bigger hit than Angie. But for unknown reasons (maybe that Mick wasn't involved) it was shelved and never worked on it again until now. If this had been given the "some more sessions" treatment, it would have become a really great song. The hook is great, the rest is chaotic, sloppy and boring. Don't like it much. An ok demo, as Criss Cross is, t

QuoteChris Fountain Sweethearts Together is a cool slick song - like the tropical feel. Send it To Me - she could be Boogarian!! Sparks will Fly - don't for get the Sharks!! great stuff! You Got me Rocking great Warhorse! Only listen to Send It To Me from time to time, never to one of the others. Don't care for Voodoo Lounge at all.

I also think Emotional Rescue is quite a great album! Some Girls, Emotional Rescue and Tattoo You are my favorite Stones records. What a trilogy. This was the aera when I discovered the stones being around 12 years old. Second are - Let It Bleed - Sticky Fingers - Goats Head Soup - Only Rock'n'Roll - Black & Blue Don't like Beggars (never hear it) and Exile (rarely
