Velvet Revolver - Hammersmith Apollo. You show me a better live hard-rock band at the moment!! Pearl Jam - Wembley Arena. Took them seven years to come back, but they got their in the end. Pure, pure brilliance.

Always curious about this band. Anyone seen them recently - apparently they haven't toured Europe for nearly a decade. Remember when they last played here in the UK Shed Seven supported them!!!

Ooh thats a tough one. 1. Rolling Stones. 2. MUSE - Total surprise! Blew me away with their supremme musicianship. 3. Ben Harper - his gig at the Hammersmith Apollo last summer was one of the best i've seen from him! Such passion and soul. 4. Guns N' Roses - still a very good band, "Sweet Child Of Mine" was note perfect. 5. Ryan Adams - stroppy and indifferent he can

I hate to play the devil hear (as i've got tickets for the first Twickenham show!) but does anyone think that this Sunday's gig is under threat?

I think you have a point there Roadster. I remember when Mick had some problems in 2003 (I had tickets for both Twickenham shows) which forced them to postpone. After they came back and played he was very apologetic, and the band really put in a great performance. In the current context of this tour we may well see the other Spanish show pulled, as I think they will again want to make every e

My brother-in-law is a MASSIVE Prince fan - he saw him in Manchester the last time he was over here. Drives my sister insane! He can't wait 'til he announces the dates for his new tour. From a personal point of view I have none of his albums. But what I will say is watching his set at this years Brit Awards was simply breathtaking, it was by far the highlight of the night as a lot o

Yes, bought it last year on a recommendation from a friend. I don't consider myself a jazz expert by any means, but you listen to it and it just sounds connected and perfectly balanced. Why do I say this??..I have absolutely no idea! Like many brilliant records though, it breeds your interest in other artists. After listening to Davis's album, I read about Oscar Peterson and bought o

I have to say that probably the worst ever band that I have seen in my live music career, was a band called Chicks on Speed that opened for the Chilli Peppers in Hyde Park in 2004. Holy Shit I've never heard anything so bad in my life - I mean they had gardening tools on stage at one point! Now I wouldn't normally condone such violence, but the lead singer got caught square in the face

Well people I was just driving home from work and listening to the radio, and they had one of the Project Managers on and he pretty much confirmed that it won't be ready until August! Ironically this would mean that the guys would be the first band but they could me early August or late August. We need to know, I have tickets for the first show and I just hope things are ready in time.

Man I hate this topic but unfortunately the question sadly won't go away. I think if the momemtum is maintained they may tour again sooner than you think, though they will need a "reason" - a album of sorts that will front the tour - because if not, well, what would be the point? Cannot believe Boston's second show got "Memory"..must have sounded amazing. Perhaps

Its probably been done to death but I don't care: when are we to expect an annoucement on the European tour next year? I appreciate with the World Cup being played, getting stadiums dates confirmed might be proving a little difficult, but come on South American dates were sorted out long ago. What format should we expect? Stadiums, arenas and theatres? Do people think that the Uk will ge
