I don't know about now, but in the past, being married never interfered with Mick's "bachelor's freedom."

You never know what to expect with Bruce. He changes his set list somewhat for every show, and isn't afraid to toss in a few rarities or cover songs for the real fans. I saw him last year in the US and he was still excellent.

I was there. A great show in an historic theater. I wish it was a little longer, but then we got those awesome Licks theater shows a few years later.

QuoteBliss QuoteBeast QuoteBliss My closest friend was taken backstage to meet Keith in 1994 and he invited her to a party. But the $10,000 question is: did she accept the invite??!! She was actually brought backstage after a concert by Stones staff at Keith's request. He had seen her from the stage. She is blonde, pretty, and 26 at the time. She met him, they talked for awhile, and he

What about the blind Canadian girl (Rita Bédard) whom Keith befriended in Toronto in 1975, and who later helped him in his drug possession trial in 1977.

I doubt he will rebuild. Bob Clearmountain is 72 and his studio had lots of rare, vintage analog gear that took him many years to amass. All of it lost now. It may be several years before he will be able to build a new home and studio, and I'm sure this fire took the wind out of his sails. My guess is he will likely retire now.

The late Chuch Magee (Rolling Stones backline head from 1975 to 2002) once told me Keith's main Fender Twin amp is serial number 0002. He said he bought it sometime in the early 80's for $750. The backup Twin is serial number 0003. Both amps were likely made by the same hands at the Fender factory in 1958, using the exact same materials. The #0002 amp was bought sometime later from a co

QuoteGJB Sasha has given birth and still has "the rolling stones" in her bio on insta. I still don't know if we know for sure whether Chanel was covering Sasha while she was pregnant and giving birth and Sasha will return or whether Chanel is replacing Sasha (and whether that decision has been made based on preference rather than circumstance). At this point I can't see

I hope Matt Lee buys this setlist as well as the group-signed contract from 1965. They would be a great addition to his fabulous collection.

QuoteRicky A Mick Jagger Handwritten Set List: I recognize some of the songs on the setlist (Mona, You Better Move On, Not Fade Away...), but not others... anyone here with a better reading perception? Thanks 1. TBYou = I'm Talkin' About You (Chuck Berry) 2. W.Dog = Walkin' The Dog (Rufus Thomas) 3. Mona = Mona (Bo Diddley) 4. Move = You Better Move On (Arthur Alexander)

QuoteGasLightStreet Ronnie has perfected the angry hornet nest distortion sound for his "solo" on SMU. I think I heard a woodchipper yesterday that sounded similar. LOL WHAT is he DOING!!!???? I have to agree. I dislike the heavy, distorted tone Ronnie has adopted in his solos (ususlly with his Les Paul) on this tour. It's not only sonically inappropriate, it's ditracting, a

Roger Fisher was a fantastic guitarist. What was the reason he left the band? Was it over songwriting royalties, or did he just get tired of touring?

QuotePaintMonkeyManBlack QuoteJeter1984 How many shows did Keith do one song? 3 or 4? Perhaps he's just catching up so that he gets 2 songs/show for the whole tour. Wouldn't be surprised if that's writtin in the contracts. That would be bizarre but if true he is back to 2 in denver. There is no such "contract" that Keith does so many songs. It's just something t

The 3-song Keith set kinda kills the momentum of the show, and most casual fans could do without it. And the single song encore is too short. They should do a ballad such as Angie or Wild Horses, followed by Satisfaction.

Warmup band KALEO hits the stage at 8, right? Stones around 9:30? Thank you! I'd be making sure I was in my spot for just after 9. There will not be any added dates added to this leg of the tour. The official announcement for the show at Thunder Ridge explicitly says FINAL SHOW. The Stones will most likely play in Europe/UK next summer, and possibly will return to North America in the future to play the cities they missed on this leg, but nothing is set yet.

Get there early! Traffic near the stadium is terrible on event days. Many people park in lots along Route 1 and walk a mile or two to the stadium.

QuoteDGee Forgive me if I am not up to speed or if this has already been discused: East Rutherford Show 2 featured a little Robert Johnson "Come On In My Kitchen" interlude during Midnight Rambler. Incredible blues and playfulness between Keith and Mick. Does anyone know if that is a commonly played interlude in that song, or if it has ever been done before? I was at MetLife in 2019

I was on the MetLife Stadium loading dock Sunday when the band came off stage after the show. Keith was first off and went straight to his limo, along with his manager Jane Rose, and his assistant, Tony Russell. Mick came down a minute later and walked up to Keith's car and playfully knocked on the rear window, then smiled and gave Keith a thumbs-up sign. I'm sure he must have recognize

QuoteJeter1984 Every Stones song that has a driving horn section is a winner. Which is why they should play ADTL on a regular basis. I really miss having a trumpet in the horn section. It adds the necessary punch to numbers like ADTL, Bitch, Rocks Off, Heartbreaker and SSOH.

Start with Bill Wyman's book "Stone Alone." It chronicles the band's rise from the early jazz and blues clubs in London to international superstars in the late 60s. It's filled with interesting stories and anecdotes, and is an essential read for Stones fans.

I have seen small children at a Stones show before but I think 6 is a little too young. At that age the concert may seem confusing and too overwhelming for most young kuds, and the late hours usually mean they will either fall asleep in the middle of it or get tired or bored and want leave to early. Personally, I would wait until he is older...and hope the Stones are still touring then.

They don't seem to care about details like design and class. It's like they just want to rake in more money with as little effort as possible. Of all the classic rock acts, the Stones have done the least to appease their loyal fans.
