Hey Y'all! A few of you herein know I collect Rolling Stones' records. I am presently ISO Stones' (and maybe others') TMOQ or K&S 1970s era bootleg LPs, preferably colored or splattered wax, but black wax, too. If you have any titles available, I am interested! Please email me cjs@ggsattorney

I first spun this amazing song in 1978 when I bought the US Shattered 45. I have long thought this should have been on Some Girls in lieu of Lies, but it is still an amazing B-side and next to the 8:36 Miss You my favorite track from Some Girls.

Quotewiredallnight Both the Rattlesnake box and Work Sucks are only loud and compressed and have no dynamics. If you like that - OK, but not my cup of tea. (That's the way music usually is today, so maybe you're used to it.) The Philadelphia Specials (both old vinyl and TSP) are much better. Take a look at the waveforms if you don't believe it. I recommend a quiet song like Love In

Click on the Discogs link to see that I was referring to the RSGL acronym which appears in the matrix of the LPs' dead wax. Thanks so much to you for pointing out my mistake! What? The Rattlesnake box was made from a very early generation tape and was sonically the absolutely best available at the time. I know, because the tapes were mine. Ma

Quotedph The first release of the '72 soundboard recordings were US vinyl bootlegs on the RSVP label: "Mick Taylor We Miss You" and "Jack Daniel's On Tour." The West German "Philadelphia Special" 2 LP set sounds better than either of those. Not sure if they had better tapes or a better record pressing. Maybe both. I couldn't agree more. Those ti

OK, I'll bite at a concept I've thought about over & over for eons. Longest (known) set list is 28 songs (Knebworth or 1981 Tour?), so I'll use 3 songs (this is my ULTIMATE gig, so I can get 2 more songs, right?): 1. Jumpin Jack Flash (Leeds, 1971) 2. Start Me Up (Still Life 1981) 3. Tumbling Dice (L&G, 1972) 4. Let's Spend the Night Together (Hampton 1981)

I'm surprised that acetate has never leaked ? There is an acetate out there that has these tracks and no YCAGWYW. Popsike - Let It Bleed acetate - 2006

This was the next take after the break. There are two sources for the recordings at Muscle Shoals. Stanley Booth, using a portable tape recorder, made recordings all three nights. The Maysles were o

Quotewiredallnight IMHO for example the vinyl rips from Philadelphia Special sound considerably better than this one. Just my opinion. This still sounds some kind of distorted to me. I won't disagree and appreciate your opinion. Arguably, there is nothing better than the vinyl rips from the first pressings of Philly Special before they adulterated it with No Noise. I DO think that Work

Quotewiredallnight Thanks for the hint. I'll give it a listen. I have all of the original vinyl releases of these without the no noise horrors. I have downloaded yours and look forward to comparing yours to both Work Sucks and the original records. One thing that Work Sucks did was not only get rid of the "Dolby B" effect of No Noise, but it also raised the volume of the rec
