I know these are momentous times with another Tour getting our juices flowing but has anyone heard Sophie Ellis Bextor's latest hit song Young Blood which is getting loads of UK airplay right now? To my untrained ear it starts off just like Wild Horses and then has No Expectations going on in there as well. Maybe it's just me!

I watched Swedish cover band Rocks Off play Liverpool's Matthew Street Festival yesterday and they were excellent! They played the whole of Get yer ya-ya's out on the Classic Albums stage in blazing sunshine at the ungodly hour of 12:00 (midday)! For those who haven't seen them, they sound really authentic and 'Mick' really had the moves, the band are well worth seeing if

I love these guys. IMHO I think that either Mick or Keith should invite Ronnie and a guitar on a quiet holiday - away from the press - on one of their islands or estates. Either one of them should step up to the plate and do this. There is a lot of fondness, a lot of history and let's face it - a great deal of money at stake if a tour or album comes off. They could monitor his drinking (yes

I went to see Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings at Liverpool last night and we got the usual high standard show with laughs and excellent performances by Albert Lee, Dennis Locorriere and co. It is is hard to pick out any of the band as they are all so professional and they play with such a gleam in their eyes - obviously enjoying every moment. They usually throw in one or two Stones related songs,

I'm sure that Keith was playing his black telecaster custom on Start Me Up at the SBC, now this guitar is in standard tuning and everyone knows that this song must be played in open G for the correct sound. Can someone confirm please? ps I really enjoyed both SBC shows and the 4 song sound check that was open to 50 or so lucky fans on the sunday afternoon.
