There is absolutely not one single reason to remix this album. It sounds sharp, focused and dynamic. The best recorded Stones album by a long mile. Even a remaster would possibly don’t do it justice. Use the CBS or Virgin digital master. And the analogue tape for the vinyl.

But the liner-notes are wrong in stating it’s from No Security, which it isn’t even on in the regular edition, though there is a version included on the Japanese version, but that one is a totally different recording.

No one has ever claimed Darryl is the only bass player. He is a hired hand. On Bridges To Babylon he is only on 3 tracks. In the studio, creativity is the main factor.
