Quotetatters There is no public transportation in Detroit. Just something called a "people mover" which is an elevated train that goes around in a circle. It's basically just a glorified amusement park ride. The good news is that Comerica Park is right in the heart of Downtown. Lots to do and it's generally pretty safe. If you like gambling casinos, we've got three of

What you save determines what level of fan/collector/fanatic you are. I save everything. I even saved the shipping box the goodie bag/blanket came in when you bought a pit ticket last tour. It's a sickness that there is no cure for. Just accept it and enjoy the ride. Scotty, Irvine, CA "Rock and Roll is a nuclear blast of reality in a mundane world where no one is allowed to be m

As always with threads like this, one guitarist is always left out, Mick Green. As I have posted before, Trouser Press did a two issue article in the late 70's of the 100 greatest guitarists. In the Mick Green's bio it was stated that Page, Townshend and Blackmore have all name checked him as an early influence or the reason they picked up the guitar. Yes, he did not play on the origina

The irrepressible Nigel Dick just posted this video montage he made over the holiday of the music videos he's produced on his Facebook page. He offered a jelly donut to anyone who could name all the artists in the video. He said he left out some artists like Tears For Fears and Julian Cope as he didn't have the videos in a digital format. Have fun.

Don't hear much talk about them, and they pretty much have disappeared from the airwaves, satellite included. Now that's not necessarily the be all and end all. I just find them to be pretty

Interesting thread Henri. When was the release date? I know in the early days of cd's, many disc's were pressed in Japan for the US. As CD's became more popular and they started hitting the used bins I would search these pressings out. RCA was one of the labels that did this. Three disc's that come to mind are Elvis Presley's Rocker and Return Of The Rocker comps and Bowi
