So, I received an early Christmas gift of a record player. As I was testing it out today I decided to play The Beatles 'Red Album' On Side 3 at the beginning there is about 9 seconds of horns & sitar & a quick guitar riff/run that slightly resembles 'Title 5'.. Elton John does absolutely NOTHING for me musically! It's all one big bore to me. How Elton is 'famous' is beyond me. Queen, I know the radio hits & that's it. I guess I could have written my review a little clearer. All I meant to say is w/ the amount of stars from the past showcased on the series it might be lost on a younger generation who might not know them by not knowing their musical history. Although I don't think it would keep them from enjoying the series, the references & significance would be a little lost on them.
