Lordy, where's Rockman's levity when we need it. Would love to see all this bickering and negativity calm down. I truly love iorr.org, it's been a longtime retreat for me with my love for the Stones and so many other music related gems (obvious and obscure)- many thanks BV > "peace & love" as someone famous once said...

QuoteMidnightDevilRambler Quotebv I am ready to tour any time, but I don't think the world is ready for any major tours until most people are vaccinated. It will take a while. May be smaller crowds with a few hundred people are ok, but a large tour with 50,000 people x 15 shows? Hard to imagine during an active pandemic. BV, sad but I've got to agree. In lots of the US vaccines do

Quotejbwelda Its the biggest city in the lower central valley and was about the size of cities they were touring at the time, location aside. Actually, the only reason Fresno is derided is it is in California and therefore compared to way greater areas. If we are talking the entire USA, then they played a lot of way lesser venues back then, especially in the midwest and northern parts. As noted i

"Personally, I think any policy that demands we share personal-medical data with private businesses and institutions is a bad idea. Besides...if we are gonna "test" anything, I'd prefer they do breathalizers on all the drunks driving home after the show/game. just my opinion, nothing more. Quotebv Quotestone4ever According to the government figures in Britain only 6% of covid deaths have been a direct result of covid. I'm feeling worried that so many of you still believe this scam, it's just politics now, why else with all the statistics available to you would you still welcome lockdowns. I'm out of here, have a great life. This is untrue and undocumented lies.

Hard to argue with that so I won't, but I will say that No Expectations is right up there with it! With Back Street Girl right behind... Quotejahisnotdead Thank you all for the responses, this is a very interesting and thought-provoking thread! It's fascinating to hear the bands that rock fans from outside the US first think of when asked the question. Here's my take on the E Street Band, and maybe to a slightly lesser extent the Heartbreakers. Is there really a specific, definable difference between a Bruce Springst

Hadn't heard any until now and with the great reviews, was just starting to research which version to buy etc., and now not sure I'll purchase at all. Quotebv Quotejbwelda I do not see why this thread is even allowed to exist. Has fuckall to do with the Rolling Stones and at least in the USA has become a highly politicalized subject. There is no truth only lies that those who would benefit from it would like you to believe. And meanwhile there is near insurrection in the streets. Millions of Maggots on the rapidly faltering corpse of democracy

QuoteGasLightStreet Quotecrholmstrom Dallas/SF has been flexed out of SNF in a few weeks for NYG/CLE. Get your affairs in order, this could be a sign of the apocalypse. You have to know Jerry Jones is not a happy camper. That sort of thing can get a coach fired. Of course in Dallas it's unlikely the GM gets the axe. Loving it! That is truly bizarre. Cleeeeveland? Middle school, I was 13, walking the school hall to class first thing in the morning, one of my friends (although we weren't real close at the time) walking the other direction in the hallway, tears streaming down his cheeks, I stopped him to ask what was wrong? And he told me the news after just being informed of John's passing, it hit me like a ton of bricks - the utter tragedy and my

QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteBN78 QuoteGasLightStreet The Chiefs are in second in the AFC but are the only team to clinch even though they have the same record as the Steelers, who are first, and have no clinched. The NFL's numbers, or whatever the hell it is that is used to have teams "clinch" a playoff spot, is ridiculous. Clearly a team with at least 9 wins is in. There are too
