QuoteAmy340 Quotepalerider22 Well I'm still going to hang around Massey Hall in Toronto after the Buffalo date...just in case... After Buffalo they'll go on to Quebec Yeah...I know...but there is a 4 day window...Heck, they might even drop by the El Mocambo for a drink now that it's reopened...Okay...just kidding......or am I?...

Quoteduke richardson QuoteNaturalust Quotekleermaker QuoteNaturalust I've always thought Ronnie could be the secret weapon to take the music up a notch, still do. My best hope at this point is that he does exactly that... he sure seemed to be paying attention to what MT was playing last time out. So maybe everything will truly gel on this tour, tons of new songs will be played, Ronnie

I'd love to toot my horn about self-upgrading...I'm really good at it in venues I'm familiar with here in Toronto but I wouldn't know about this one. I would suggest be discrete...blend with a group...always be polite and confused if questioned...."Oh, sorry...I thought it was here..." etc....move on and try a different spot. Don't stand too close to the entran

The trouble with conspiracy theories is that proponents seem to think it's quite easy to keep people in the loop quiet for years...decades...If any conspsiracy theory were actually true ...Pearl Harbor, Kennedy, Moon Landing.... Lennon...They would all have unravelled by now...

If this is not respected then I would have to close this thread. Very simple. Feel free to EDIT your post if you want to change what you posted. There is a link under every post : "Edit Post". QuoteGetondown Why on earth do you care? This is just one thread within a RS website. Taylor was a Rolling Stone. What is so hard for you to deal with or is this really Mick Jagger on your account? What people can't recognize is that he is one of the greatest guitarists of all time and MJ and KR closed ranks on him for contributing. Now they don't want him back on a follow-up tou

I suspect that if there are special guests they will be doing a song from Sticky Fingers. I hope they show some respect to Mick Taylor and long-time fans by not having any guitar player playing something that he came up with for that album. If we see Jeff Beck or somebody doing CYHMK we'll...well, I don't now how we'd react...

QuoteLeonioid I am somewhat curious about this whole Buffalo situation. The only stop with no Lucky Dip tickets offered and now the the reports of better sales than anywhere else. Good for the city to suport the Stones so well. Yes...and no. A good percentage of the crowd will be Canadians from just across the border...maybe half...

This is the one show I'll be attending...it's different from the stadium shows, I agree. Probably won't get a good view but the atmosphere should be excellent. I might take VIA Rail from Toronto and relax and enjoy the trip. The price is right compared to Buffalo and the city is a great euro-style place to spend a couple of days. Going to Buffalo, crossing the border, the expense,

QuoteNaturalust QuoteDreamer Good post Naturalust and I agree and support you. Hmm except..."especially when that topic is a big part of the Stones musical experience." because that's not what this is about And I support you as well at the same time bv but not all the way: I know it's difficult sometimes being a gatekeeper on this forum and a fan and a liason with RS inc.

I don't think Lucky Dip tickets are ever really sold out. They will reappear sporadically up to the actual day of the show...but you do have to constantly check for them at all times, day or night. On the last tour I kept getting 'sold out' for the longest time when one day they came up out of nowhere and I got them. I seem to recall refreshing the page several times before they tu

I really looked forward every day to the ongoing discussion. There were some really excellent and thought-provoking posts on that thread and I don't recall many posts that crossed the line. I posted there a lot I don't think I ever mentioned Ron Wood or diminished him in any way. My main point was really to add to the mix, not compare anyone or denigrate the band. I'm a big Mick T

Quoteflacnvinyl What Beast said. Even worse, many of the other "good sections" were held back as well. The biggest draw was anything below $350. Just to put things in perspective, there are over 4,000 seats for sale JUST FOR NASHVILLE on Stubhub. So for everyone trying to get "ok" seats, all of those are now being sold for double face value. I wonder what they'll

I think people may be underestimating the discontent regarding the absence of Taylor on this tour. There's a marketing rule of thumb that for every person that expresses their discontent there are 30 that don't and remain silent and that 70-90% that read those opinions are influenced by them to some degree. I don't think this MT thing is going away. There many more unhappy public c

I just watched 'Sweet summer Sun' to refresh my attitude to the concert presentation...I was left with a couple of impressions.. A) I can see why they don't want to mess with the 'formula' approach. They have it down to a science. Other than any added new number I'm surprised that they even have to rehearse it. When Taylor came on for Midnight Rambler the band
