Mick can't sing, dance, and knows nothing about music? He does all three well. What does Capote know about any of this. Aside from being a great novelist, he is a novice.

Flip the Switch, official version, is also a classic. This was played in Saint Louis. The guitar work by Richards is awesome.

Great! I would have liked to see him with his mouth open, as if in a state of opioid euphoria. See the album cover of Black and Blue. But a fine painting.

I am beginning to think that there are no more Bad Boys in the 2000's. The new rocks stars have decided to be more mature and responsible. Some of the older Bad Boys have squandered their financial resources and may not be living the lives they envisioned in their old age. They may be poor and living off of Social Security and such. Nikki Sixx, in his book, complained that he was not

I just finished reading The Heroine Diaries, by Nikki Sixx, the former bass player and singer of Motley Crue. This man reported a life time of drugs, sex, and rock and roll, along with bad behavior, such as physical and emotional abuse of his fellow band members and managers, many women, and contempt for authority. He engaged in reckless behavior such as burning rooms in hotels and throwing TV s

Never seen Elton before. We will see him on October 23, 2018 at the KFC Yum Center in Louisville, Kentucky. This is a beautiful arena for rock concerts.

The Pretty Restless. The female lead singer is Taylor Momden, an actress, model, and rock singer. She was the six year old girl in How the Grinch Stole Christmas. This girl can sing very well.

I am really shocked at some of you who hope that great bands, like the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac, would just go somewhere and die. They have made some of the most memorable music in the history of rock and roll. What is so wrong for Deacon, Glenn's son, taking over for him, since he knows the songs and has genuine talent? These great vintage bands continue to perform because they enjoy per

I saw the concert in Louisville, Kentucky on October 24, 2017. There was no warm up act. Instead, the Eagles played straight through for almost two and one half hours. Deacon Frye was well received and sounded quite like his dad, Glenn. While Vince Gill is classified as country, he certainly did not have that country twang in his voice when singing Lying Eyes. I thought they were excellent.

I might want to see Phish to see what the fuss is all about. I have a friend who has seen them 21 times, so I suppose she is a Phishead. Any one seen Phish and willing to give a review?

Imagine this. You are craving to hear some great rock music, but your favorite band, the Stones, is taking a break in touring. Assuming that that your second favorite band were touring somewhat near your home, what group or act would that be? That is easy for me to answer. I saw the Eagles a few weeks ago, and they were better than ever. Deacon Frey was great, as was Vince Gill, the new m

I love to go to Stones concerts. Like most musicians playing live, mistakes will sometimes happen, For that reason, I listen mostly to studio versions, where everything is made perfect in the recording studio.

I recently saw Dwight Eisenhower, the best Elvis impersonator of Elvis in the world, and was very impressed. This prompted me to listen to a best of Elvis CD I had not listened to in years. I was shocked at his perfect diction, the incredible range of his voice, and the passion with which he performed and sang. On Surrender, his voice exuded sexual tension, and his renditions of Are You Loneso

These songs are terrible. They are nothing but primitive chants with little imagination. If there is a new Stones album, I hope none of the numbers resemble this garbage. By the way, who are the guitarists and drummer??

I love this song, the beat, the energy , and especially the wild dancing by Kristen Stewart in the video. But what do the lyrics mean? Is the man cheating at cards and deciding to finally quit and go straight, or is he dealing drugs and realizing that sooner or later he will die of an overdose or be killed by a gang member for leaving the business? Maybe I am naive or something. It took

I once read that Keith Richards, as a young man, had spent hour after hour trying to reproduce precisely the guitar sound of his idol, Chuck Berry. I hear Chuck's influence on his solo album Crosseyed Heart, and on may other songs, such as It's Only Rock and Roll. On the next studio album, in 2017 or 2018, the Stones should cover at least one of his songs, such as: Johnny B. Go

TSMR stands for Their Satanic Majesties Request. It took me about 15 minutes to figure it out. Hopkins, if you want people to participate in your thread, you need to be more specific. Not being sarcastic, but just trying to help out. If I said my favorite Stones songs were GGA, TAY, LWYD, or SS, would you instantly know what I was referring to?

I forgot about Wayne Perkins. There was a recent thread about Hand of Fate, and everyone raved about his guitar work. Surely, no one could object to a minute solo on a Stones studio album.

For the last several weeks I have been listening to the Blue and Lonesome CD and enjoying every bit of it. I was most impressed with the guitar work by Eric Clapton on I Can't Quit You Baby and Everybody Knows About My Good Thing. I am certainly not trying to suggest that Keith and Ron are not playing up to par. On the contrary, they played exceptionally well on this CD. But it would hel

Great song, and the two solos by Perkins, one in the middle and the other at the ending, were exceptional. There is actually a third short solo at 2:40 0f the song, and that is by Keith. What makes this song are the intense solo at 2:40 and the opening riff of Hand of Fate, also played by Keith.

Kristen does a great job in the video for Ride 'Em on Down. She does a sexy little dance in the middle of it too. I looked her up on Wikipedia and was surprised to see all the movies she has been in and the awards she has won for talent in acting. If you have not checked the video out already, you should do so. I believe this is the first time a well known actor has appeared in a St

I recently saw Bob Dylan in concert and would like to say that the man is a bit eccentric. A day before the concert we received an automated message, warning us not to record the concert. At the concert, the ushers warned us not to photograph or film the concert, as Dylan and his band would immediately leave the stage and not return. He does not want to be introduced by anyone. At exactly 8 pm,
