Mick is superb on Wiltern Stray Cat Blues, but Keith kind of ruins it with his terrible playing. The Stockholm version was a bit of trainwreck. I guess the Olympia version is the best one from 2003.

Overdubs or not, you can clearly hear the pitch correction on Mick's vocals. I think it makes this performance sound a lot better than the youtube vids.

Mess It Up is awesome, so great to hear Charlie in fine form. Wish he was playing on all songs. Live By The Sword has that classic Charlie/Bill swing, would've fitted perfectly on Steel Wheels instead of Break The Spell. Whole Wide World is maybe a bit too radio friendly for my taste.

A Bigger Bang is criminally underrated. I'm sure it will get a revival the next 30 years. As a younger fan who was 8 years old when it came out, I listened to it like a madman growing up and love almost every song. If Hackney Diamonds comes anywhere close I will be very happy.

I like both songs better than Angry. Sounds like a mixture between later day Stones and Goddess In The Doorway. The verse of "Get Close" reminds me of the pre-chorus of "Too Far Gone". Will be interesting to see if the tracks written without Watt has a different feel to them.

Angry is very reliant on Jagger's expressive vocal melody line. If you take away his vocals the music itself is a bit bland. Ghost Town has a nice sophisticated groove thanks to Charlie and Darryl, and a more interesting melody too. Would've loved to hear Charlie play Ghost Town live in concert!

Now we have Crystal Cat releases from half of the Swedish shows since 1995, these are missing: Gothenburg 1998 (a few bonus tracks were included on Stockholm '98 release) Stockholm #1 2003 Stockholm #2 2003 Gothenburg 2007 Stockholm 2014 If the above mentioned shows were recorded by Crystal Cat I hope they will be released someday.

I'm not spending 30 euros on a pay per view I already purchased 10 years ago and have on DVD-r in excellent quality. Gimme Shelter is by no means an essential song in the setlist. They didn't play it for most of the Voodoo Lounge and Bigger Bang tours and no one cared! Especially nowadays with Keith's tentative intro and Mick's restrained singing with the overdone female vocals on top I just can't stand it. Wished they stopped playing it.
