How does this sound compared to "Cocaine On a Dentist Chair"?

There are two different tape sources that I know of for this show: 1) the one used for Cocaine on a Dentist's Chair; and 2) the one used for Crossfire Hurricane.

Both have good points and bad points -- I slightly prefer Crossfire Hurricane. While the "Cocaine" source has loud up-front guitars, it's also considerably more distorted, as I recall. Crossfire is not as punchy, but has a little bit cleaner, more balanced, sound.

I do not know which source this is.

why not do a merge of this concert ???????????????

Both sources for this show is must - I agree. If anybody is looking for the "Born In A Crossfire Hurricane" source....which is a better listen than "Cocaine..:" (apart from the guitars) - make sure you get the low-gen version shared by Watchit; and not the bootleg....as the bootleg can't compeat with the torrent available....at all.
Haven't heard this Sister Morphine release....looks like great teamwork from Urban Steel and Scott - once again

Just listened to the download, this is the same source as the "Cocaine On a Dentist Chair" bootleg, Sister Morphine boosted it a little, so that it sounds louder.

Anybody knows if Watchit's low-gen version is still available?

Yeah plus(like the san diego 69) you dont have to buy a two cd set like VG used to make you do at a big price! Pairing a good show with a horrible recorded one!

I wasn't complaining!

I didnt think you were, sorry if i left that impression! I just couldnt help digging at VG for what they used to do to "beef up " the price. And yeah, I was a willing victim of it on more than one occasion!

I'm downloading it now and will leave it open for a while. They say it has 2 seeds, but it's pretty slow currently.
