Hi, if the first part are the official tracks you must delete it inemdiatly, official stuff are not allowed here, that is to protect this great site.

I thought of this -- what of the other MickBoy posts?
Only reason I did it was because the other ones have been posted through here.

Track 18 (Dandelion - Charlie Drum mix) is missing from the bonus tracks - see the cover images. Can anybody post this one? Also, track 1 (Sing This All Together) is 3:37 on the cover image, but the track is only 1:25 long - is this how it's supposed to be? Otherwise, this looks like one great piece of work.

Oh, I see ... the Charlie Dandelion drum mix actually starts about 4:50 in to track 17 of the download set (2000 Light Years From Home). Easy fix - split the track into the two parts and rename track 18 as 19. Also a little edit to the tracklength of track 1 on the covers, and it's all done. Thanks all for the answers.

I guess the answer to your question would be that nobody has ever spent as much time laboring over the Stones music and making it sound exactly as M & J recorded it like Mickboy. There is not an engineer or a production manager working for London, Abkco, Atlantic, Virgin or any other that gives a crap about The Rolling Stones like Mickboy has. Listening side by side to the recent 'remasters' and to Mickboy you should arrive at one conclusion....they should be ashamed of themselves for releasing such 'absolute rubbish' as newly remastered. Someone on this board gave the thought "Imagine what this guy could do with the actual masters" and I have wondered that from that day forward. Mickboy seems to be a remarkable talent, I find his work jaw dropping.....Anyway, thats just one point of view to answer your question.

Sorry to 'butt in' here, as I don't post very often. I'm not good with computers, so I've never worked-out how to download 'bit-torrent' & can only download mp3s.
I've heard several of Mickboy's remasters & they DO sound great. But, doesn't spending so much time & dedication on bringing out the very best in these albums & outtakes & then posting them in mp3 format kind of 'defeat the object'?.
I'm not saying that MY ears could tell the difference, but- there are plenty of people who would.
Just my 5 cents :-)

After rereading my post it seems I was a bit blunt(sorry)that wasnt my intention. Of course its only my opinion and no, my ears arent as good as they should be. What I do like is the posters who replied to my statement put forward quality counter arguements without hostility. Thats what I like about this board it gives me the joy of communicating with other Stones fans, and lets me appreciate other points of view.

Thanks for a fantastic Post, one question though, does anybody have Mickboy's liner notes, if so they would be greatly appreciated
Btw I think both JMarko and Mickboy have done an amazing job with these tracks, thanks for putting in the effort!

Well after reading all comments on how great these Mickboy remasters are supposed to sound I would really like to hear a clean example of his work. Somehow all the Mickboy torrents I've come across sofar seem to have some kind of soundproblems varying from pops, digital distortion, gaps and lossy sound. Converting his remasters to mp3 makes no sense whatever, as any result of the remastering will be partially destroyed in the lossy mp3 format.

dont know,Capt except Mickboy writes in his notes for the Black and Blue rmstr about should he dare to "reconstruct" it as he did with Satanic Majesties? I always understood why the Sing This... jam was eliminated(Its hard to sit through that more than once) but On With The Show I dont know why. Just my opinion but I think the album flows better and including Dandelion,WE Love You and Child Of The Moon makes it so much easier to listen to.
