I don't have any problem, I don't download MP3 stuff, I'm collecting original releases only. I just notice some people focusing on the "never pay anything", and that's ridiculus, cause original releases collectors, will not stop paying for stuff because a dude post MP3 online and MP3/CDRs traders will never pay anything anyway so the point is don't post MP3 thinking if people don't have this they will pay for it, cause they never pay for it anyway !

I don't download either, I collect originals just like you - of course WAVs as well - as it's impossible to buy everything. But I gave it some thought....and it doesn't bother me that other people find pleasure in MP3 downloads.
The point is to not having to pay for these ROIO recordings.
Most bootleg-labels "steal" their recordings anyway, and doesn't deserve to make money on other peoples audience-recordings.

As well as most people post old recordings that came from bootlegs first.

Hey folks! What´s the f.... matter? I can´t understand why are you still discussing about quality, mp3, collectors, or flac files... Live and let die! "Dead Flowers" seems to be in one of "those days" Do you know what I mean? Let the people choose to upload or download whatever they want to do. If you want to get it, then download if you don´t want just let them go! It´s just simple as to choose. But in anycase nobody has the right to critize the work of the good fellows..if it worths for you get it if it isn´t let it go, just simple as that. Sorry if someone considers this an offence

Of course, but they're not charging anything - just like the original tapetraders whom which the bootleg-labels get their material from.
Which format one collect, MP3 - WAV - CD - CDR, is a personal matter, I'd say.
And just like you, I want to know the origin of the recording, and want it in best possible quality. The info on origin is a bit pale here, apart from Urban Steel's posts.
But the mainpoint is to listen to music.

They are not charging but some bootlegs labels has more difficulties to sell stuff. Distributing some of their own recording made them lost moneys. Even now, reselling a personal collection is harder.

One thing, that's sad about these days of torrents and downloading:
There's not that much to earn for bootleg-labels, so they can't afford to buy uncirculated material for their releases - the collectors will rather keep it to themselves, then see it being spread on the net....even without credits.
So - the few labels that keep it going even in these times, are crap-labels like "SODD" who re-release these old classics - for the younger collector who missed the original releases.
It means : no new material being spread - apart from what the few generous people share thorugh torrents.
But....there shouldn't be any money involved in the first place....it just took that turn.
There's several sides of this free sharing.

VGP/DAC used to send someone to record shows....but they stopped doing it.
SODD is re-realising existing stuff as you said.
Siser Morphine is re-realising stuff with EQ
Rattlesnake got their own taper for their recent releases
Pignose used to have their own taper
Vigotone used to pay their stuff

Yes I know, those were the days...!
Not anymore - it's fading away. Even VGP/DAC can't come up with anything new. They usually copy torrents these days.
