in my humble opinion as a collector...if you are just fishing for a fan to cough up his cassettes, that's ok...but you must understand that it is very difficult to put a price tag on such a worthless ( to most ) item....if a collector happens to have 10, 20 or 30 titles on cassette which are factory sealed or an excellent condition, then the bag might be worth something to own for a collector who wants to have everything..otherwise, I find these cassettes at garage sales for 50 cents often.....peter
Re: Anybody want to get rid of your old stones cassettes?
I have hundreds of Stones boot cassettes and I'd love to find someone willing to digitize them for me - including trackbreaks at the song beginnings and removal of partial songs that get cut on one side and restarted on the other.
And if there's even someone willing to do pitch correction and EQ we can definitely work out a deal.

Re: Anybody want to get rid of your old stones cassettes?
I probably have the same stuff that Mr. Marko has, and would be more than willing to send them off to someone who was willing to digitize them. A lot of these tapes are better than the CDs that come out, because they are a lower generation tape than the CD master tape used. And they haven't been put through the (sometimes horrendous) reprocessing.

Re: Anybody want to get rid of your old stones cassettes?
I'm serious about the offer though. If someone wants to digitize the cassette tapes, I have some shows in better quality than what I've downloaded from here. Some of the older ('69-'73) stuff I was able to get copies directly from the taper.
