I first heard LQ in the late 50s, sung by JLL - I think it was the B-side of one of his hits in UK. It wasn't until years later that I heard CB's take, and found out it was his song.
CB's version is great - a nice, slow, rock rhythm - but the song will always be associated with JLL for me.
