Does anyone have the Black and Blue Sessions (or any other comp of outtakes from Munich 74-75)? The recently posted rehearsal take of Fool to Cry was very intriguing (and excellent quality). I think it would be interesting to hear the sessions that landed the gig for Ronnie. And I believe there are some early versions of TY songs from these sessions.

Worried About You, Slave and the embryo of Start Me Up are from those sessions.
Start Me Up has reworked a lot of times. There is at least 5 or 6 versions in circulation. The sound is mostly not as good as Fool To Cry for the B&B sessions.

I have a boot called "Black and Blue Sessions". It's 12 songs long. The sound quality is kinda grainy, and on Memory Motel I've noticed some weirdness involving the sound in the right channel, but still good and very listenable. I'll begin uploading right now.

Thanks it's all wrong! Listening to this was the highlight of my week. The instrumental Slave and the 12 minute Hey Negrita were criminally left off the original! I think Black and Blue should've been a double LP after listening to this. Is there any sort of book with session info that i could buy to figure out which guitarists played on these tracks?

Does anyone know if these tracks (or other Black and Blue outtakes) exist anywhere in clearer quality? There is a lot of hiss on these, but the recently posted rehearsal Fool to Cry was almlost release quality. I think this was off Rags to Excess. Does Rags to Excess (or Outtakes 74-75, or anything else for that matter) have higher quality versions of this stuff?

I think it does. I love for someone to post it, but the last time it was posted, poeple said because it's a Mickboy album, it can't be posted or else the board would be shut down.

How is that? I thought mickboy stuff was boots...I have never heard any of it though...could someone please ducate me as to who/what mickboy is and what type of stuff they put out?

I"m guessing some of the album is just remastered versions of the offical album. Mickboy did that with GHS added some outtakes.

I also do not really know who or what Mickboy is.

This song was one of the few songs I managed to download when From Rags To Excess was posted. Back then, I only downloaded some songs on a bootleg, the outtakes I never heard before. I was so stupid.
