REQUEST Stones Auburn 69

Does anybody have a copy of this boot that they could post? Someone on here told me they had a copy on tape and weren't sure if it exists on CD. I have read a review of the CD but I can't remember where so I know it does exist.

Here is from an older thread....

Re: Top 5 Unsurfaced Live Shows

"I could swear I have a tape of Auburn 1969 somewhere. I am quite sure, as I did send it to VGP, and I seem to recall they also released it. The same for Brussels 2nd show: I have the audience tape and half of the show in mediocre soundboard. I am quite sure I did send it to VGP. It's an excellent show, just as good as the Antwerp and Berlin 1973 shows, but less than Brussels first (I remember especially Keith made some mistakes)."

None of the two Auburn´69 shows are circulating.

But it's a very knowledgeable person who wrote it...Mathijs.

Right Just to but the record straight I saw a review in either a fanzine or on a site of one of the Auburn shows. It clearly stated it had been released on CD and I don't recall VGP being mentioned. And from how it was described the person that had reviewed it was not confusing it with any of the known 69 tour boots.

Nasty Habits, in your first post you said that somebody had it on tape....I hope you didn't mean my post, on the other thread of yours.
I wrote I didn't have it....but I've seen it on other people's trading lists, that's all. Of course they can be wrong about the source of their tape.

WHO IS HE?

I know TornandFrayed is VERY knowledgeable about this era, if he says it doesn't exist - then it doesn't exist.

I´m sure he´s confusing them with the Champaign´69 shows.
Besides, it wouldn´t be the first time where he spreads false information...

I´m damn sure the Auburn shows aren´t circulating. If someone does indeed have them, please step forward and prove it.

I didn't want to start a riot here, just passing on a post I remembered.
But I believe you TornAndFrayed....you know a lot, for sure.

Mathijs made a mistake about Auburn. He meant the philly show from 69 which was at that time unreleased......

According to Stanley Booth (Dance with the Devil) they did a 30 minute rendition of HTW in Auburn.
