The postings for the song tracks don't contain anything. They are all only 44 btyes in size which is nothing in terms of file size.

We'll I'm not sure what went wrong but let's see if we can't figure it out.

I'll assume you have these tracks on your computer's harddrive, stored in a directory where you know where to find them.

You need IORR and YouSend It opened at the same time. Trust you've done that.

Your at the YouSendIt screen, click on browse, find the songs on your harddrive, LEFT double click the song # 1, it will copy to the browse box, click on SEND, wait until you get the message that includes the string of info, RIGHT click on the string, you a get drop down box, choose copy shortcut, minimize the USentIt screen, maximize the IORR screen, place your cursor where you want and PASTE the string into the message, place your cursor on the next row, minimize the IORR screen, maximize the USentIt screen, click browse and repeat for song # 2 etc, etc etc...........

Confusing, you bet !!!!!!!!

Hope that helps.

Happy Jack:

Try copying the info string from USendIt NOT from your e-mail message.

Ok here it goes again, first 13 tracks are from Tales from the who, the rest represent the Quad songs not on tales from the who. these arent as good of a quality, but i thought people would still enjoy hearing what it sounded like in 1973. The boot is "rough actions" from Detroit 1973. Sadly the one recording I had of "The Rock" from 1973 doesnt want to record right.

I Can't Explain

Here is My Wife from the Tales From The Who show (it should fit in between Summertime Blues and My Generation). Great drumming from Moon on this one.

If anyone knows how to repost these as MP3's please let me know. I downloaded them into itunes, so thats probably why they are MP4's. Also let me know whats on anyone elses wish list. OF the moon era, I have almost every tour covered, save 1971. SO let me know and I will see what else i can post.

Thank you HJ!

I love the Who. Pete, like Hendrix could play a lead and rythm at the same time.

TO convert to MP3, you can right click on the track and convert to MP3

Re: For who fans 3

Cafaro: Excuse my ignorance, but when do you do the conversion - when you're doing the "save target as..." or after the DL when you go to play it? Are you using Windows Media Player to do this or some other program?

Happy Jack (I saw ya!)

So, So happy to get hold of Quadraphenia live after all these years. Just loved hearing this, which together with Live at Leeds demonstrates once and for all what the sum of 4 awesome muso's can achieve. I only wish I could have seen them back then. Unfortunately after the '68 tour downunder Pete Swore never to play in Oz or NZ again. Great shame. If you have any good soundboard recordings live of the Who's Next period (Baba O'Reilly, Behind Blue Eyes, Pure and Easy. etc) '71,' 72 would love to hear these.

Thanks a lot.

Swayed, I'm actually looking for a recording from 1971. I have one recording from 1972 that is decent (I got it for "Long Live Rock" and "Relay" which were only played with moon on this tour) and Ive only got the Young Vic Blues disc from 1971. Specifically I'm looking for the Dayton show from 1971, or the Long beach and San Francisco shows from later in that year.

Any chance you would post in MP3 format?
I know you've already taken the time to post it twice, so it's completely understandable if you don't, but it would be much appreciated if you would.
Thanks

Ditto for me re the previous post. These files won't convert for me even with a convertor program. MP3s would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

What are you saying? I can convert the mp4's I've already downloaded to mp3's? Or I can convert them during the download process from yousendit? Or only the uploader to yousendit can designate them as mp3's? Please clarify.

If someone gives me explicit instructions as to how to convert these files to mp3's I have another show im ready to post. I am using itunes to download the files because its easier, and itunes and wants to put the files in m4 format.

Guys,

It's easy. Just right click on the song after it's downloaded. Choose "rename" and then change the last 3 charachters of the file extension to mp3".

Thank you Happy Jack for posting this terrific show. I have been looking for it for a long time. I imagine buying the wax would set me back some ££ or $$.

Happy Jack:

You should check your version of itunes software. You need minimum version 4.5 in order to import WMA files into itunes.

You can do that buy checking the HELP tab on your itunes main screen and clicking on "About iTunes" option.

Updates are available on their website. I'm using 4.9 and works just fine.
