> GUEZEG: > >What is the ' THE LOST LIVE ALBUM " because I can't find any artwork for this title >which would enable me to check the tracklisting ???? > >How does it differ from the " UNRELEASED DECCA LIVE ALBUM " ???
Actually, it's a different album, with slightly better recordings, but slighly less compelling performances. I prefer Decca, but this is worth the listening.
>I have a Swingin' Pig thing with NY MSG 72.
It's the short version (actually the regular one) of Welcome to NY. These tracks are the "middle soundboards" I have.
I'll post those things : Leeds, Altamont, Hamburg. Check the next postings.
I did a bit more digging and found some references to the " LOST LIVE ALBUM " tracks mentioned in the Rolling Stones FAQ. It appears these tracks were the raw unmixed versions, meant for final release on the 1972 album. Rumour has it that they were actually played on radio in Cleveland according to the FAQ. They have appeared on several various boots, but perhaps never gathered together on one boot.
Please post the Lost Live Album. Thank you kindly.
