There are two versions out there. The live broadcast is where Mick licks Ronnie's lips. The rehearsal footage is what SNL ran on reruns, without the licking.

Well, you know, it was 1978... they were still quite young, drunk, stoned and god knows what. Ronnie played his solo with closed eyes, then Mick licked his lips and Ronnie looked like... well... just woke up. Opened his eyes, a half step back and a face like: "Hey, what's happening? Oh no, did he really..!?"

Of course, he continues playing guitar all the time. Just a great moment, like the whole SNL

I don't remember Mick licking Woody's lips. I remember his sticking his tongue out and running it up and down Woody's cheek. It did almost seem as though Woody didn't even realize it was happening. Almost like the place was too bright from the lights, and by the time he realized what happened Jagger was gone. He didn't seem particularly phased by it tho. Perhaps there is some correlation to all those Rod Stewart rumours!
