So what do most of you think of this track? Simple but rather unique. Are there any outtakes of this one out there? I'd like to track them down if possible?

There's an outtake (or. OBR release) with a more audible electric piano.

on "Tattoo Too" (or "Early Stitches"), you got two outtakes of this song.

The best way to buy Tattoo You Outtakes is to buy the new DAC "All Inside Our Crazy Dreams". 1 CD only, 79 minutes. All track versions as on the LP, but now at the right speed and fantastic sound. Incl. at least one demo of every album track. Plus the slow 7 min version of Claudine.

Most of that stuff also on Tattoo Too, but there in More or less worse sound.

For the price of the DAC, you can have (at least) a double-CD set with mostly all the outtakes of Tatoo You (yes, with more or less good sound, but you can't always get...) you can see the evolution of the songs and there is no trax that has nothing to do with "Tatoo You" like "Claudine"!
But, that's only my opinion...
I get upset with all those "Bits And Pieces" non-sense compilations...

Mitch, it seems you don't know the DAC. Compared with this item Tattoo Out is trash. Also the artwork is unbeatable. And DACs aren't that expensive anymore if you know where to get. I wouldn't wanna miss Claudine I which was hard to get on CD before.

I am Talking about "Tattoo Too" boot, released by Rattlesnake, not "Tattoo Out" which is another boot with only one CD.

Ah, and Claudine 1 is available at laest on 2 other boots: Megatrax vol2 and Girls, Pills And Powders, (a clever compilation, this one!)

1st: Of course I meant Tattoo Too, not the horrible earlier CDs. By the way, Tattoo Too, it's much better than I though yesterday, also has Never Stop (Start Me Up '75). But some take are actually recorded remarkably worse than on the mentioned DAC.

2nd: I doubt if Claudine I is on those Cds in that perfect sound.
