Just went on dimeadozen after zillion years and downloaded this gig... Boy am I blown away. What a rabid, almost punk performance. They were really trough the roof that night. Plus, the sound quality of the boot is awesome.

Not sure if there's already a topic, but I'd like to start a discussion with experienced bootleg collectors and consumers about awesome gigs like this. Recommendations welcomed smiling smiley

Those early Babylon shows are some of my favorites. Opening night in Chicago and the Texas Speedway shows are also excellent. Boys were absolutely on fire and they were doing lots of interesting songs.

The band always puts on a great show in the New England area. One show I think disappears under the radar is Hartford 8/26/2005, an early Bang show with Keith in fine fettle. "Beast of Burden" is one of my favorite versions, a grungy version that somehow keeps the song's vulnerability intact. Then there's one of the best versions ever of "Jumping Jack Flash." The Vegas horn coda of previous tours had long gone, so the end is a long jam where Keith just hammers out power chords with accuracy and conviction.

The two Perth shows from 2014 are available in great quality and have some excellent song selections; over the course of these two shows they did Get Off of My Cloud, Worried About You, Bitch, Can't Be Seen (love it or hate it, it's a rarity), Loving Cup and All Down the Line. Night 2 (11/1/14) has an absolutely KILLER Gimme Shelter.

Another one I revisit is the first SoFi Stadium show from 10/14/2021. It has one of the very best opening salvos of any Stones show post-Wyman (LSTNT -> 19thNB -> Rocks Off -> GOOMC), a beautiful Ruby Tuesday (first since 2016), and one of the greatest live performances of Jumping Jack Flash of all time, one that combines the defiance of 'lions in winter' era Stones with elements of the 1975 and 1978 iterations of the song.
