Imho the person(s) who taped this benefit thought it would have the same length as a standard 1972 perf = 70/75 minutes.
The boot last 82'. If you had 2 extra minutes of SFM and a complete 10' MR you reach 94-95 minutes.

I dont think Billy Preston was at the LA Nicaraguan benefit concert,cause he start touring with the Stones in Europe 73.

The TMOQ guys taped the show. None of their tapes from that era circulate so the only source is the double LP. They either ran out of tape or decided that including Midnight Rambler would make the LPs too long and hurt the sound quality. I'm guessing they ran out of tape.
