The easiest way to resolve this issue is to back up anything of value on your PC to CDR and reformat your harddrive....reinstall windows and start all over again. The reason why I say this, you stated you messed up your licensing folder, so to prevent any issues with your PC down the road, its best you just reformat the HD...
