This is a CDR of the original tape that VGP-338 became. It's the raw, unremastered source. Evidently, the lowest gen extant.I found this cd along w/many other Stones cds when I cleaned out my parking place a couple of months ago.

Ok Just burnt this to CD had a quick listen - There is a voice over Introduction at the beginning of the recording saying "The Rolling Stones Live at Winterland San Francisco July 8th 1972" I have another cdr entitled -Mick Taylor Is My Darling " ESKY-001 Also with the same introduction voice over. And then I checked a 3rd CDR "Where Angels Fear To Thread" with the same 10 track, cover dates it the 8th. Same Track listing - BS _ MR . Help required. I think the recording posted by Heiloobaas sounds the best.

It's been determined that this is the 6th first show. And it's the source of the Esky release as well. VGP took this source, at my behest, and remastered it. I'm offering it as it originally came to me, without any tweaking.

Here's the second part of MTIMD:

Download the file I have provided the link for here, + the one above and wa-laa, it's yours.

[I never gave a second thought to the size of the font, nor the pretty colour, until a site member was good enough to bring it to my attention how very annoyed they were by it. Now I wouldn't dream of providing links without it. A lesson to the wise...]

Tonstone, thank you. I tried in vain to get Tim D. to email me the coverart for "Mick Taylor is My Darling," and "Can You Hear the Encore." But I never heard back from him.

He and I agonized over every detail of those two sets of coverart. If anybody has them to upload I'd be grateful. Ta.
