Ft Worth TX - June 24 1972 First Show
1. Gimmie Shelter
2. Dead Flowers
3. Sweet Black Angel
4. Happy
5. Tumbling Dice
6. Love In Vain
7. Sweet Virginia
8. You Can't Always Get What You Want
9. Midnight Rambler
11. Rip This Joint
12. Street Fighting Man

Was that really the setlist? If so, that's an interesting order. Probably because the two shows in one day deal.

Anyway, the separation between instruments is much better during the evening show. I wish we had some more separation on Sweet Black Angel, because the horns are playing some really cool stuff and I'd like to hear Nicky Hopkins and Mick Taylor's harmonic contributions a bit clearer.

FF links basically working - but after the dl-countdown, the file of Vol.1 is not available.

to me, this set is the best digital fidelity of the 1972 Tour gems like Philly Special I & II and Welcome to NY.

IMHO for example the vinyl rips from Philadelphia Special sound considerably better than this one. Just my opinion. This still sounds some kind of distorted to me.

I won't disagree and appreciate your opinion. Arguably, there is nothing better than the vinyl rips from the first pressings of Philly Special before they adulterated it with No Noise.

I DO think that Works Sucks is the best of the DIGITAL specimens, though Capt. Acid worked some real magic on these trax as well. I do not know that he started with Works Suck, and if he did not, I'd love to hear his treatment applied to Work Sucks.
