Stones Sidesteps: From Alexis Korner To The All Star Band
This is a series of recordings provided by nzb to present the side projects of some of the Rolling Stones (Ian 'Stu' Stewart, Charlie Watts and Bill Wyman), who accompanied and paid tribute to one of the fathers of English blues - Alexis Korner.
Thanks to nzb who provided us his recordings, to Jaap (Stonesmuziekfan) who gave critic and advise regarding my work and to my friend Riccardo (MrNo) who participated to a big part of my collection.

Note: “Hoochie Coochie Man” coming from this show was published on the “Bootleg Him”-album, so it can't be presented here.
I duplicated the channel to get a more intense sound and I also upgraded the beginning and the end of the session.
Part2:
19th April 1978: ALEXIS KORNER & FRIENDS. Iver Heath (near London), Pinewood Studios. Note: Aired on an unknown date (late 70's or early 80's).
Line-up: only 1 song with STU(p) and Bob Hall(p): «Pinetop's Boogie Woogie» (Clarence 'Pinetop' Smith).
05 - Blue Monday
06 - Pinetop’s Boogie Woogie
07- Got To Get You Off My Mind
(infos taken from The Rolling Stones Complete Works Database by Nico Zentgraf
[
nzentgraf.de]).
Taken from a very good quality radio broadcast, aired in two parts (with comments by Alexis Korner).
Note: 11 of the 14 tracks of this program were published on «The Party Album» (Universal Music) in 1980 and cannot be presented here.
These tracks are coming from the complete show tapes.
I deleted the gaps between the tracks and rearranged the transitions. I also amplified the sound (from 0,6 to 1db).
